I never use real drippers anymore. Clogs and shit like that always pissed me off.
Basket drip stakes for the win, for me nowadays. Yeah, it takes more gph of pumps, but way less chance of clogs.

If i'm punching out a rockwool crop real quick, its usually in 3x3's stacked on hugos, with a single drip stake in the 3x3.
3 watering cycles a light cycle. I work my way up to 3 by around day 12 of flower.
@AlphaPhase here's another shitty pic I took yesterday morning at the other pad. I wish I could have waited til lights out, but tbat would have been a couple hours longer, and when I was done doin what I had to there, i bailed.

Hell yeah dude, I have 2 DEs on my shopping list to grab the day I move, I can't wait to run em!! Especially with ebb buckets I'll have plenty of room even if the ceilings are low, really hoping for a really tall room still though, but even if it happens to be 8' I'm gonnna rock em

I rock gavidas @ 1 place, DEs @ another. Although they both say 1150w no way the DEs put out as much as the gavidas. No way no how.

yes, it's about as good as a denova. All those are good w lower ceilings but no lie the gavida @ 750 is brighter than all others @ 1150.

Same strains, no co2 gavidas are 3+. No co2 w knockoffs( non gavidas regardless of name) 2+. The gavidas need 1/3 more distance to prevent burn but are well worth the money. My friend pushes 1.7+ on 750 for 2 years now. The light has barely diminished for him w same bulb

Damn that's crazy, I didn't know there was much difference in then, I know Aero gets 3 on some cuts like gg4 with the phantoms, but damn the gavidas are only 70$ more so maybe I'll go that route, on a good grow with my old school hoods and a hortilux I get a little over 2, like 35oz once in a while but not consistent with no co2, but I really want to upgrade because I've never run anything except air-cooled hoods and hortis, I feel I'm missing out like crazy

Put the phantom DE's that I mostly rock(with phillips OR ushio bulbs)against gavita brand DE's, no difference.

Right on I didn't know they were the same price, I gotta start looking in to this stuff, I got a phantom in my eBay cart and a gavita pro 1000e in my cart, the Gavita was more on eBay though at 470 and the Phantom was 400, it looks like there's a ton of different gavita models but I'm not sure what the differences are, says something like the 1000e can use a variety of bulbs or something?

No. Only cooler thing about the gavitas are the built in controller. That's about it. No real need for multiple contactors. That shit is pretty slick, but i've yet to see/hear about the gavita blowing what I rock away.

Hey guys, I'm just starting a grow with re, done soil and rdwc for many years.

My question, what ppm do you feed in veg (example 300-500) and what ec do you use in flower?

When you flush the last week do you do it with plain water or low ppm feed? Point me in the direction for a noob with grodan. Thanks!!!

I already bought the titan 2 controller, 12- 6x6 grodan blocks, floraflex caps, tubing and clips for the water lines...

start with 600ppm for young plants add gradually as they grow i go up to 1200 in late veg, switch nutes also gradually and increase further 100ppm every week until you get to 1700 at week 5 maintain it there until last 2 weeks, decrease also gradually I don;t flush. I know many will say i'm crazy to feed at 1700, but i have seen 2000 in full bloom with no burns. If you notice i always say "gradually", stability is key, you change any of the 3 PH, EC and NPK gradually to allow the plant to adjust, and she will thrive much better... hey slim, i hope you make good use of that

Fukin around with blocks again. Uni Slabs and Libra tray slabs as well. Still rocking coco pots under most of the lamps. But Iam finding my Og based gear likes higher than coco EC in rockwool. Blood Purple stems and petioles and just generally not happy before veg t5's kick on. When all other gear is standing at attention just before the 18-6 photoperiod. So I bumped up base EC on Og stuff to 1.6. They are only 8 to 10 inches tall but a well developed root system in blocks (4x4x2.5) . Thats almost always my peak EC for 2 and 3 gallon pots of coco coir. And they are starting to come around to the stronger feeds in rockwool. Ph a little lower than coco as well. 5.5 to 5.7. Iam letting the blocks dry down quite a bit to where there just a touch of moisture in the bottom of the block. Then I soak em good with plenty of runoff. Takes 2 to 3 days to dry down. I want them PERFECT before setting on slabs.

I'm new to using stonewool, actually just started using 4x4 blocks and macro plugs yesterday. But I've read alot about them.

One thing that comes out mind is that EVERYWHERE on mj forums say that blocks are acidic and raises pH. Well, it's actually pH neutral just like hydroton.

So this brings me to all the incorrect information about needing to soak the blocks in 5.5ph water for hours, or even over night. Who made this crap up? Lol.

All you need to do is put them in 5.5ph water, let them sink (takes 15 seconds or less) then you're done pre treating them. Or 30 minutes tops if that makes you feel better. Put the plant in and stop wasting time.

So just wanted to point that nonsense out. This should be a sticky so future stonewool users don't get sucked down the bs information tunnel.

That's all I do soak them in 5 gallon bucket
