I found that by top feeding rockwool I don't get salt buildup, by dripping for 1 minute thru a 4 gallon per hour dripper multi times a day makes for 2-3" growth daily in veg. I've flood n drained, rockwool, cocoa, hydroton, soil, pro mix, mixes of all the above and nothing beats a 6" cube drip fed multi times a day.
Not hard to convert flood n drain to drip

Right on, I've heard alot about drip feed being better for rockwool, do you think drip feed for 4x4 blocks would work better than flooding as well? My biggest plants max out at about 40" 9 per light and sometimes I do smaller plants at 12 per light or 25 per light, is a 4x4 on a slab of some sort big enough for this?

Also, any recommendations on a parts list would be awesome. Not really sure what I'd need, I've never done drip before. Would need a system that could drip about 50 plants or so but would have to be on separate drippers I think since the room in always on rotation with new plants going in and older plants going out?

I never use real drippers anymore. Clogs and shit like that always pissed me off.
Basket drip stakes for the win, for me nowadays. Yeah, it takes more gph of pumps, but way less chance of clogs.

If i'm punching out a rockwool crop real quick, its usually in 3x3's stacked on hugos, with a single drip stake in the 3x3.
3 watering cycles a light cycle. I work my way up to 3 by around day 12 of flower.
@AlphaPhase here's another shitty pic I took yesterday morning at the other pad. I wish I could have waited til lights out, but tbat would have been a couple hours longer, and when I was done doin what I had to there, i bailed.
Shitty pic, of 3x3 on hugo 6 weeks in. Insane growth fo sho

Is there a real need to stack them, say if using a 4x4 and flowering in 3-4 wks? Will it make a noticeable difference?

Best case scenario, I wouldn't want to stack them if I didn't have to, but maybe if it's needed with a 4x4, stack it on a uni slab?

That's that Im digging about the drip caps, no spray nozzles, just attach the 1/4" line to the clip where ever ya want on the cap and it directs the water to where ya want it :)

I'm almost certain these are 4x4 but not stacked, like is the sky the limit? Would be awesome to save money on Mediumz each grow

The floor flex caps are legit, can't get them though.
Call around the local hydro shops I guess ours has tons of them no one bought and I might be able to get a discount on them, worth a shot, the flex guys said they don't sell them individually, only in bulk through wholesalers

The dripers I use can be cleaned in like 3 seconds, just twist remove replace and twist. Took a bit to find bites that didn't clog. I have a grow journal w MB ferts in 1 red and Hollands sectret in the other. Lights just turned on today, magics gonna happen

Right on, that's the only thing that worry me with droppers, clogs, but things have come a long ways since I looked into it last. Plus with rockwool I'll have more forgiveness if watering goes wrong since the rw holds way more water than my hydroton.

Do ya have a link to your journal?

What area are you in bro? I'm in la area
