Dude, I am Keith, I just recently ran my first auto flower grow, I did two from Kiwi seeds auto Mako haze and auto sugarbaby. I did berry Ryder from auto seeds and auto purple from Spanish seeds . I had all the same concerns as you, I planted them from sprout directly into final pots, 2-3 gallon, 2-5 gallon. I was in a tent 3'x3'x6'. With a600 Mh/hps cool tube digital ballast. Never believe what they tell you in the description of the strain. If it says 60 days it's really 80-85 days to proper thc maturity. If after 5-6 weeks they don't pick up speed, than maybe you stunted them. Autos have the opposite effect on high stress training, like super cropping( breaking of branches to make them stronger) doesn't work, because you lose valuable flowering time due to healing. I currently have 4 autos going, freeze berry, trans Siberian and skunk 47, and pink citrus. This time I only LST them,(bend not break) first one way for three weeks, than let them go for a week than bent the opposite way and even them out. They are doing great. So my advice to you is just fall back, feed them normally, and wait about 20 days longer than expected by the breeder. Remember, they have the cream da crop, and perfect environment. Do you? Thought so. Keep your thumb green and your screen clean.

Sup everybody I got some update pictures for you. Taken this morning. I decided to bring them out of the tent and get a good look at all of them. Before I post some pictures I got a couple questions. The Royal bluematic and purple Ryder are coming a long very nicely. They are definitely farther ahead than the sweet dwarf.
I noticed on the main stalk that there's some new shoots coming out I will post a close up of them. I'm just curious about what's going to happen. Because the other buds are a lot farther along than the new tiny shoots coming out. So in reality wouldn't the big buds and the ones that are 10times more established going to be done wayy before those ones form? Or when it's close to harvest time should I leave the newer shoots that are coming out on to grow out after I clip the rest off? Here's some pics of all of them.

Thanks bro!! What do you think about the sweet dwarf? It's like a lot bigger than the others. It's farther behind. And the nugs are like really small. Like they haven't fattened up at all in the past few days. It's just growing more and more of them I have seen much increase in like the size of them.

Hey brother, them bitches look healthy as Fuck. Great job so far. I'm impressed with the last pic. She it TAll.. and making lots of room for big buds. I you want to keep it that way, you MUST cut away the new bottom growth that's way behind. They are called SUCKER branches, your girl wasted energy growing them, taking away from your main branches. Good news is that she has roots for those, and when you cut them off, you supply more growth to other parts. You should lollipop them. At the time that your plants have visible nugs on it. Get rid of popcorn buds, they are a waste and end up in trim tray. Make MASSIVE heads all over her. Trim crap, heads explode. Trust the busy bee

Hey bro! Thanks for the compliment you do have a good point for the sweet dwarf. It has slowed down a lot as in bud getting denser/fuller. I've noticed it still getting a little taller and more bud spots showing every couple days. You do have a valid point in taking off some of the lower branches to provide more energy for the main ones. I think I'm going to look into that alitttle bit today and check it out! I got a question. The purple Ryder strain I got going. ( one of the shorter plants) it's supposed to be purple according to breeder info and from looking at about 95% of joint doctors purple Ryder grows by all sorts of different people. Yet it hasn't started turning purple yet, any thoughts?

That's funny because my auto purple from Spanish seeds didn't have one purple hair or leaf when finished, some are supposed to be naturally colored due to breeding, and some need to be cold induced.

I think some strains are bred to colour naturally, but you have to bear in mind you're growing completely unnaturally, and also every strain has different phenotypes and characteristics. If you want the colour, your best bet is probably to try and induce it by lowering temperatures. Good luck to you man! Keep us updated!!
