I am kind of excited to hear what this is all about because most of the so called "activist" I do not really like anyways, I have always felt that at least in Canada most of them are just hiding in order to rake in the money. The most sincere one I met was Michelle Rainy (from the very vocal bunch at least)

When you say "Activist" i actually come up with no one in mind but people like wilcox, conroy, jodey, bubbleman, larsen, klokied, all of them are not anyone that represents my values.

You're fooling yourself if you think there hasn't always been drama in the 'cannabis' community, particularly the east/west divide.

I think most of us are on the same page with regard to some of the more vocal pot stars, and that they would do the community and everyone else a favour if they found some other way to share their obnoxiousness.

Just goes with the territory, there's always some slimeball trying to pull a fast one on somebody.

Couldn't agree more, these attention whores give us stoners a bad name. From my experience the quiet low key "activist" make the biggest impression on me. They truly fight for the cause and ask nothing in return, and prefer to stay out of the limelight. I have no time for these other pot snobs, media whores, or negativity in general. I often question why I still participate in these forums, the negativity here is toxic, but I refuse to be bullied and chased away.......

I don't have Facebook. But from what I gather Emery is being accused of sex assault? Can't say I'm surprised...he is one shady fuck.

I've witnessed him, a few times do something pseudo sexual to a young girl, and thought wtf is going on here. Once was with my wife (girlfriend at the time, we were young? 18-19 years old). He came in holding this big 5 foot bong, walked up to our table and introduced himself. Then he takes a look at my wife, who was the only female at the table, and says she doesn't look stoned enough. So he gets down on his knees, spreads his legs open, jams the base of the bong in his crotch and points the mouthpiece towards her and says, "here, suck on this". I laughed out loud instantly, because it was such a weird way he had positioned it, there was absolutely no need to make the thing look like she's sucking his cock. I said, "what are you doing? Now I don't really care what happens between two consenting people, as long as no one is breaking any laws against another but if you are considering yourself to be a public figure and an activist you better leave your feelings that will go against public perception of you at the door before going out into the public.

I don't know the guy personally, but nearly every clip you see of him he is surrounded by 14-19 year old kids. You got to wonder about a grown man who hangs around kids. I'm glad Jodie got turned down as a candidate...she is an embarrassment too.
