List mass shootings ended by a citizen with a gun. Not the cops but Joe Q Citizen - with his CCP and a little 9.
None probably exist since the citizen with a gun would have PREVENTED a mass shooting. You might not have noticed that when mass shootings occur, there is no "citizen with a gun" there.

A veteran who says he was carrying a concealed weapon on the UCC campus Thursday when 26-year-old Christopher Harper Mercer went on a murderous rampage, says he didn’t intervene because he knew police SWAT team members wouldn’t know him from the shooter.

In an interview with MSNBC, vet John Parker said he knows lots of students who conceal carry at the school because, despite a school policy that discourages weapons on campus, Oregon state law does allow it.

...Parker explained that his military training provided him with the skills to “go into danger,” but said he felt lucky he and others didn’t try to get involved going after Mercer.

“Luckily we made the choice not to get involved,” he explained. “We were quite a distance away from the building where this was happening. And we could have opened ourselves up to be potential targets ourselves, and not knowing where SWAT was, their response time, they wouldn’t know who we were. And if we had our guns ready to shoot, they could think that we were bad guys.”

So, a cowardly veteran who stood idle while others were slaughtered. Got news for him. I think he is a "bad guy"

Really? I doubt your truthfulness, with good cause. Citation needed when a known liar makes a claim.
His name outs John Parker. And the only liar between the 2 of us is you. His story and interview was posted on here the day after the shooting

He had no obligation to intervene simply because he was carrying a weapon. I applaud his common sense.

I condemn his cowardice.
He was in no official capacity to provide protection to anyone. He had a very valid concern that he may get shot due to the fact that he was not wearing any sort of uniform.

I condemn vigilantes that think just because they have a gun they are supercop.

Guns are to protect yourself, not to be used to dispense justice. Now, if the guy was approaching him shooting I can understand him returning fire.

So, unless you are in "official capacity", you have no reason to help others? Vigilante-ism isn't even part of the equation. Nobody is talking about dispensing justice, we're talking about preventing mass murder. Just because you have a life ring doesn't mean you should throw it to a drowning man?

If everyone had been armed in aurora that night in the theater the body count would of soared.

So, what is the radius of response? If it is happening in your state and you have a gun should you get in your car and go confront the suspects? If it is in your city? If it is on your block?

It wasn't the distance he mentioned first, it was his personal safety.

You have no way of knowing that at all. You say it as if you knew it to be true. Self-serving conjecture while you claiming you don't lie. You have a well deserved reputation.

I know if you have a dark room with armed people in it and someone fired a shot the return fire will be massive and deadly. .... to everyone in the room
