At one point, Hedman told the former Flint mayor that a draft report of those levels, which circulated without agency permission, should have been kept under wraps until it had been vetted and revised — a process which took months.

The EPA, which could also be called to appear at a congressional hearing said to be set for early next month, also requested that its Inspector General evaluate Region 5’s supervision program for public water systems, a move U.S. Sen. Gary Peters, D-Mich., applauded as a way to "better understand how EPA could have helped prevent Flint’s water crisis and what they can do to keep this situation from ever happening again."


Seems like a lot of heads will roll.

Now we're about to be "honored" with a congressional hearing on the Flint water crisis...minus Snyder, emergency manger (Early). Early is being subpoenaed to show up, let's see if he shows up.

He most likely been offered a deal by DOJ.

I read a great book on Reagen. He slept his whole 8 years. And when he wasnt he was aloof and watching movies. And blank stare out the white house windows for hours. He had to be told where to stand in front of cameras....what to say....who he was talking to. The joint chiefs were just amazed anything got done. His advisors were calling all the shots. He was just the face. Dementia was setiing in alot earlier than the public thought. It was a very closely guarded secret in his administration.
 
The regular working person has been getting screwed since he broke up the airline unions. The whole libertarian small government trickle down bullshit....this shit has got to stop. It all started in the early eighties with that old dementia riddled jackass. And old time GOP good ole boys worship him like god. Reagen is all they got....thier claim to fame.

So the fact that an airline ticket is still the same price or lower than the 80's is bullshit? Are you picketing for higher prices?

But it eventually got out, Nancy would finish his lines she whispered to him off camera. A lot was kept from the public (no Twitter or face book let alone Internet). You had to like politics to know all this and I had gotten interested right after Ford told New Yorkers to "drop dead" in '75.

oh yeah, that's my idea of quality of life. Not health care for my kids or housing or meals for everybody. Just keep those airline ticket prices stable. Yes, I'm laughing now. Thanks NLX.

I watched how he decayed each day, from whole sentences that were disagreeable but made sense to short expletive-filled sentences by the end of the day...it was some pretty heavy binging going on in Dave's house. I'm glad he's taking a rest. Or maybe he's just not posting when drunk any more. Which is good too. Let sleeping drunks lie, I say.
