Crocketts Tangie- pheno hunt

What up RIU!! Recently aquitred a hand full of crocketts tangie. Im looking for info on phenotypes of this strain, but cant seem to find any pheno info on it. So, thought id bring my questions to RIU!!

First off, yes, it does smell like TANGERINES!! Thats no secret! Im only in mid flower, but the smell is amazing!!. most of the seeds seem to be very stable, low phenotype variations. However, i do have one that is way more indica leaning. Super frosty. Bigger buds. Smells sweeter. All the others are sativa dom. When i search engine Tangie indica pheno nothing comes up, or any info on any phenotypes, for that matter.

So how many of you have grown this strain out? And if so, what kind of pheno's did you observe? Anyone come across this indica pheno?? Anybody get any interesting "sherbert" or "orange cream" type smells? All questions and comments are welcome!! Feel free to post any negative aspects of this strain. I look at it from a purely scientific point of view. If a strain sucks, i learn from it and move on. I do not get offended. I have no affiliation w any of these breeders, however i do admire, appreciate, and respect all of them!!

I was hoping that someone would start a RP/DNA thread. I have 3 packs that are ready to clone n go. From RP I have Kandy Kush and Skywalker OG, then from DNA I got a free pack of Golden Lemons... I have been looking at other RP/DNA gear also, I always want to try the Cali-O crosses!

sounds like something id like to try. i have some tangierine kush but there only a few weeks old. i also have agent orange, im hopeing to get that orange smell and taste.

Yes from what i understand, CFF and DNA have basically the same Tangie strain. Ive also heard RP does as well, but as you may know, its sometimes hard to filter thru the jumbled information mecca that we call the internet.

So far my experience with tangie is outstanding!! Ive grown numberous strains in the past, and this tangie so far, things may change only time will tell, so far its in my top 5 fav strains. It scroggs very well. Some seeds are a bit stretchy in early flower, but that could be my fault. Again, only time will tell.

This is by far the most orange strain ive ever grown. Smells like pure orange/tangerine (personnaly i couldnt tell u the dif between oranges n tangerines tbo). Very frosty! I will be posting pics in the morning when lights go out. :peace:

Couple veg tangies. These two tangie phenos are the most extreme leaning indica/sativa out of the pack of beans i got. The one on the left is indica dom. On the right, sativa. Ill add that the indica dom on the left is the only one out of the bunch. All the others more resemble the sat dom on the right.

I have some sour banana sherbet from Crockett I've yet to pop. I ran sincity's tangerine power for a good portion of last 2014. Every pheno was straight up oranges to the max. I wonder if the same orange strain is in the makeup of tangie from Crockett??? I think agent orange was use in tangerine power. Anyway, good luck with your hunt. Orange herb is the shit! Oh, don't forget to make some wax after you find your pheno. People still talk about that wax until this day

Oh best believe this delicious orange trim will not go to waste!! I may go as far as having it the conc tested. Never tested before, but i think it could be very interesting specifically terp profiles! That tang power sounds kickass! Do u know its lineage?

Yeah, it's agent orange from subcool x blue power (sour dub x socal master kush). That's a good move to get whatever extracts you make tested. It's crazy because I can't fathom a heavier toker, but that wax and a big tangerine power spliff would back me down. I'd have to prepare myself for where my continued consumption would take me. It wouldn't matter if it was my first toke of the day, rolling that tangerine wax would knock me out! It won a Secret cup and a few other awards for the wax, deservedly so imo. I've seen and heard the same about Crockett's tangie
