Early Trichomes?

I don't think it's pm mate lmao, it looks like little nettle hooks that the leafs get its pritty itchy for the wife lol.

But I am a noob so pay little attention

If your having humidity problems get some wet towels and keep em in grow room instead of spraying/misting your lady's that could cause more issues.

My trick is the flowering plants get waterd different days to keep abit of humidity in there because I have my extractor on 247.

IMHO I don't think it's pm or you would be able to tell by now. I think that is :bigjoint:

Or maybe less cardboard in there they suck in humidity I think

Okay, thabks, I didn't think so, but I'm going to get an opinion from the guys down at the Grow Warehouse today just to be safe, since I've gotten so many differing answers. Yeah, there's a lot sucking the humidity up, but I did get a humidifier the other day, and it's keeping it at about 45% now. I did give the wet towell trick a go for a bit though, works pretty well in a small space!

Cool! I'd guess they're probably not heavily resinous or anything, but I'm glad to hear someone else who thinks little trichomes are a possibility! Hopefully I can pick up a microscope or something and check it out up close soon to see for sure. Thanks!

Lol don't listen to all these guys on page one.. This is common in the internet.. You don't have pm and those are surely just hairs, the vague spots of lighter leaf could be a bunch of normal things but no reason to go spraying them with anything on the slim chance. I'd it really works you cut the to of that leaf or any spots you think are white but mildew becomes pretty evident pretty fast.. You're good man you do what you like I mist all the time it dries right up and the plants like it, never have had a problem.. Even threw a couple plants in a buddies shit wet basement with no issue.

Lol that's a large fan leaf.. It will never have trichs so it's not what the guy above me is talking about and I've NEVER seen a trich develop a stalk and then the head later sooo... :?

Yeah, I mean, based on the rough look of them, they look like they should be hairs. I don't think it is pm, that's for sure. After reading more, it looks like that would have definitely made itself fully known by now. And the plants look clean and healthy -- you have to get really close up to see that fuzz. Very well may be hairs though, it'd make more sense than trichomes, but I'll grab a microscope and have a close look as soon as I can, and that'll tell me for sure!

Trichs dont normally grow on fan leaves, but the white widow is famed for being super frosty.

I run white russian, which is a cross with white widow and ak47. And the white russian is super frosty too... ive seen it trich up on fan leaves a bit and even on stems late in flower....

Only real way to test trichomes is by putting some frosty fan leaves in a pipe and smoking them, if they get you ripped then its good thc brah

I've seen these on a lot of plants before. Never had an issue, it was never anything bad. Sometimes they do stand out though more than usual... Could be stunted growth, the plants I had that did this im pretty sure most were stunted at the time...

PeachyBuds, what bank did you get the White Widow from? I'm currently growing White Widow from Cannabisseeds.com. I'm at week 4 flower. My plant had the same type of things but I referred to them as little hairs. Actually i think a couple of strains I've seen have couple littlet hairy spots like this.
The trichomes that come on the buds will look more pronounced and completely different

Not sure what bank they're from -- a buddy gave them to me. all he said was feminized White Widow. glad to hear that other people have the same thing though, and that it's not a bad issue.

Im jus a newb and only grown a few plants but they all had those and I always thought they were hairs to...i never did anything about them they never went away nor did they ever hurt anything

OoO you may have a bigger problem at hand.. If you're in a legal state disregard this, otherwise depends if you're a gambling man but a grow in any outbuilding especially a shed is incredibly easy to notice, and a huge red flag. Not something I would ever be willing to chance personally. I know of one person myself that had dea show up at their house for running a garden in a shed and have heard other stories it just isn't so safe to do. The person I know happened to not have pot in the shed it was a legit garden and they still came to see just on the notion that the was a garden in a shed.. He promptly destroyed his outdoor plants in the back woods hahaha

Well been doing the shed for 15 years and 41 years growing so think I'm pretty safe, but never say never. Here, if caught growing in the house, they can try and take it, also the house is tagged on deed as grow-op. It's small and way safer where it is than inside the house.

Well, I can understand where you're coming from then and if it's working that long you are probably good. Obviously not US because they will take your house either way here lol. And here, it's much safer inside, just looking out I assumed you were a bit newer to growing.
