This thread may be a waste off bandwidth, or it may not... we'll see...
Just curious about cloning problems. I haven't been doing this for long, but it seems that people who clone in soil seem to have a tough time. I have decent conditions at best for my clones, but didn't lose any on my first attempt (soil). In fact, i took a few cuttings that i thought wouldn't stand a chance as clones, which both rooted in a week. I had a light fall down onto my clones and burn 90% off the leaves off one, and even that one survived.
So, if you have had a tough time with cloning, share your experience. Even if you did aero or another method. Also, for those of you who have not had problems, please share your procedure, especially if you use an alternative method like honey, saliva, or straight tap water. I know there is a lot of information scattered about this site on the topic, but perhaps this thread can be a good resource for a one stop shop of cloning information.
With cloning being such a great way to reproduce plants, I'm sure many people could benefit from some solid data, techniques, and procedures that do (or certainly don't) work, especially people who, like me, are new to growing, or at least cloning. If I'm wrong, this thread will die out and we can all move on with our lives!
I can post later how i did mine if anyone wants to know.
