They found micro organisms on the ISS

I don't believe we have heard back about the bible's opinion on extraterrestrials and comets and space plankton. But I understand, too much god is too much of a good thing.

Everyone, come join me on the ' Is God a terrorist' thread.
The implication there is that the Bible speaks true about God. I reject this.

Yeah, it's true. LAst year they were cleaning the windshield and under a microscope found plankton living in space. Nothing on Earth can live in space, and the likelihood that it came from Earth is about nil. Soooo there are living organisms flying through space. They figure it fell off of a passing comet. I'll check the bible for its hypothesis.
There are tube worms that live at the bottom of the ocean, in thermal vents under pressure that would crush damn near everything, and they live through conditions that nothing else can, not needing any sun, humans didn't even know they existed, it's probably a blanket statement to say that life on earth couldn't exist in space. Given protection from the solar radiation and there are things that could evolve over time to live there.
I'd bet on it.
Life "as we know it" would be more accurate.
Who's to say what other things can live off.
Also we've know for yrs that the building blocks of life exist on asteroids.
Adenine, cytosine, guanine, uracil, formamide, those things are what first formed RNA and later DNA
About 4 billion yrs ago the solar system was being blasted by TONS of asteroids, literally built the planet as we know it, that asteroid "storm" lasted ohhhh just 150 MILLION yrs...
Always blows my mind that humans think this is our planet.
We're just renting fellas... and our time is almost up.
We showed up, around 3 million yrs ago, the first ones anyways..
And the earth is 4.5 billion yrs old...
Hmmmm, i'm not the smartest motherfucker in the world buuuut....
Annnnd we've wrecked the planet in the last 2 centuries.

Typical hating rant from a religious zealot.

Fortunately for me that would only happen if I believed in sky-fairies. I have learned to think for myself and so I am immune to the terrorist threats that you and your god like to throw around.

Have a nice fear-filled day.
Making a "sky fairy" comment doesn't make you come off as superior or more intelligent, except perhaps among your friends who also draw their self-worth from thinking about how smart they are for being atheists. It just makes you sound ignorant and close-minded, revealing your narrow worldview in which explanations other than your own are always wrong. You are operating under a closed system of Truth in which you must deride or ignore anyone's experiences that don't fit into your model of the world. Sky fairies could just be "angels unaware". It's in the bible. Look it up.

The bible says in the beginning God created the heavens and the Earth. So it stands to reason that he put the microorganisms in space (the heavens) too.

Blasphemers go to hell. Forever.

That's a long time

So you are saying tube worms from the bottom of the ocean made it to the top of the ocean and ended up on a rocket booster, and then quickly evolved to live in the vacuum of space?

haha.. It also says a whoooole lot more too.
The bible isn't a reference book, its a collection of stories and philosophies written by MAN.

I love that a religious person is accusing someone else of closedmindedness...

Instantly evolved?
well, according to religion there isn't such a thing as evolution.
So I speculate that god must have given them opposable thumbs, when they prayed to him and asked for it.
problem was that the tubeworms were a collection of contradicting Christians (a couple protestants, a catholic and a Mormon), so only the Mormon worm got his wish.
they rest were labeled as blasphemous and were condemned to an eternity living at the bottom of the ocean, near those super hot and toxic thermal vents...
It was quite sad for them to see their brethren shipped off to the vacuum of space, to live.

I mean, shit... since we are having an intellectual conversation here....

It is funny that you mark me as ignorant and close minded because I don't believe in sky-faeries. An then you make sure I know how wrong I am by condemning me to hell. Forever.

Again with the capital TRUTH, I appreciate your answer but it doesn't sound as impressive or insulting as it seems you would like it too.

I did and you said no but you couldn't resist the opportunity to bring your shitty attitude and share your ignorance.
You have no sense of humor. I answered your shitty thread with an honest answer. Your illiteracy and poor read comprehension fucked that up. Go to school.

I have something better to do for a while now. Amuse yourself.
