So what do we do now with the "refugees"?

New Colossus

Not like the brazen giant of Greek fame,
With conquering limbs astride from land to land;
Here at our sea-washed, sunset gates shall stand
A mighty woman with a torch, whose flame
Is the imprisoned lightning, and her name
Mother of Exiles. From her beacon-hand
Glows world-wide welcome; her mild eyes command
The air-bridged harbor that twin cities frame.
"Keep, ancient lands, your storied pomp!" cries she
With silent lips. "Give me your tired, your poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.
Send these, the homeless, tempest-tossed to me,
I lift my lamp beside the golden door!"
"The Statue of Liberty was not conceived and sculpted as a symbol of immigration."

Tell me you don't buy into the bs that these refugees do not hate infidels? They will discriminate against you for not believing in Allah.
I keep hearing that, but not from any of my Muslim friends. Never saw any of that in Iraq or Afghanistan either. By all means though, quote the Quran out of context and tell me how ISIS is a representation of all of Islam.

What people don't realize is that they're giving Daesh the victory they're seeking. They want a black and white world where the West vilifies and lumps all Muslim regardless of their views as evil and with ISIL. Daesh wants us to reject Muslims because once we do, Daesh is correct. Daesh wants it so that Muslims have no where to turn but to them.

All these people firing missives of hatred against Islam are just furthering Daesh's goals so essentially they're helping terrorism. It's pretty ironic.

Edited to add: After the Paris attacks I talked to a Muslim friend of mine who told me this as well and said that he won't be manipulated by Daesh and he still believes that there's a place for moderate and secular Islam in the West. He also said that people who hate him for his religion are being manipulated by ISIL.

The vast majority of ISIL's victims are Muslim.

Be that as it may, the more we alienate Muslims and give them nowhere to go we push them towards Daesh to be recruited or killed.
Meh, I don't believe so much in the notion that they arose as a result of inaction so much as direct and purposeful action. From creating a power vacuum to arming them. They are the perfect weapon against Islam.

They hate all religion on RIU, didn't you hear?

Herbal and darth vapour want to exterminate all Muslims and Christians. Which when combined equals 50+% of the world's population and most of America's population.

Ask darth vapour about his SS uncle that died in the war and how angry it makes him that Germany was defeated.

We should protect them in their land. If the United Nations would actually do its job..

Don't worry. France, Britain and Russia are cleaning up our mess.

That is a complete and utter lie! I call for the eradication of all religious people. Do you think Muslims and Christians are special? Hell no! Eradicate them all. (In the most humane way of course).:finger:

We should have, now it's a little late when their homes, infrastructure, and businesses have been destroyed. Unfortunately it's countries like Russia and China which make it impossible to do so in the UN because they consistently veto measures to intervene in domestic uprisings because of their own history.

Not necessarily, some are just fleeing a very brutal civil war. The Syrian government is using barrel bombs and tanks, Russia is using unguided munitions, the rebels are using home made weapons, etc. etc., the country is in ruins.

This is Aleppo, Syria

This is Kobani, Syria after Kurdish forces pushed out Daesh.

Or a street in Syria...

Some of these areas will be taken by rebels, then retaken by government forces, then be taken by Daesh, then be retaken by rebels, only to be retaken by government forces, to be pushed out by rebels.
