Noob Winter Grow

ok sooooo ive never grown befor its about to be winter here in canadia and i finally convinced my mom that weeds to expensive and i should grow my own she said i have to grow it outside.and i will be building some walls to make the space under my balcony a room with a door so i can have a grow tent in there so my question is should i make it a proper sealed up room that can hold heat so that my grow tent is not always cold or make shitty room to just hold the snow out and have my grow tent heated from the inside. And any recommendations on what i should build the walls with?. thx serious advise only plz <3 im super excited.:weed:

You'll need at least r19 and a permanent head source for the grow, so it's in the mid to upper 70's (F) even when the lights are off.

Fellow noob here so take this with a grain of salt....

Is weed legal where you live? If not you might wanna rethink profile picture.

Keep it warm how? Gonna snuggle them? When your lights are off the temp is gonna plummet.

Permanent heat source like a space heater with a thermostat to kick it on when temp drops below 70ish....

Surething. Must grow between 70*(F) and 80*(F) not sure if that can be accomplished in Canada outside in the winter.

I'm a noobie with 5yrs vigorously growing aero. Most guys with 10+ years of growing are still learning everyday.. it's an art.

environment is everything...shit i have a live feed (encrypted) that displays my room(s) Temp and RH, so where as all i have to do is touch a button on my phone. A little paranoid maybe, but it saved me twice so far. Basically, what im getting at is, outside in Canada, thats a stretch.....might want to wait till spring. I kno u guys just legalized federally up there, but dont rush into it

OK so how cold does it have to be for snow to stick to the ground? Your tent is a piece of fabric ...this should be obvious to you ...have you gone home 1 night and you didn't have your heater on....tell me how cold was it? ITS THE SAME THING

Again, this stuff is expensive. Buy some flowers for her, take the garbage out, clean the kitchen, but convince you mom that you need to grow inside. You would be the first person on the planet with a successful grow, using just a tent, on the porch, mid winter, in Canada.

you guys are assuming im fucking growing in the snow im growing in a tent in a room is it really that hard to understand

ur talkin some money to build a room insulate it, have electric installed...either inside or wait till grow season

extension cords aint pushing enuff electricity to everything.... u need lights , a space heater , fans , ur breaker will blow at any given time.......

im have an outlet on the ouside of my house, im just better to just shield the tent from the snow but not the cold and just keep the inside warm with a heater, orrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr build proper walls with insulation

and without it being sealed or insulated the heat wont stay in, and once u do insulate it add a window air conditioner to your cost.....

You aren't growing shit. These guys are trying to point out that you are being a dumbass for believing a tent that is basically outside in Canada during winter will work.

I would convince your mom to let you grow inside. I think you will get many years of use out of it if you do. Because I'm guessing you will be living with mama for a very very very long time......
