wow i actually just read this thread, damn guys....give the kid a break....how is he supposed to know yet, lol. So mama bear is insistent on it being completely outside, and as you have stated you dont have the funds to basically build an addition "under the porch"...understandable.....I'll give you and anybody who is still reading this the biggest tip you ever get from a guy whose got 10 yrs plus and yes i still learn ways to fuck my shit up daily (not as much but u know lol)......to start growing, YOU WILL NEED MONEY!!! So many things you will need, whether learning from exp, or reading in forums, it adds up...... doesnt it guys.......(assholes making fun of the kid, im talking to you lol) shit adds up....if u think ur gonna pop a seed in a pot and grow some dank shit, well i did that about 6-7 times before i realized it wasnt happening.....
OK, so i saw ur link that u posted....not bad to start, but as loud said, u need an intake, or some way of fresh air circulating ur ladies during veg and flower....w/o air cooled hood or cool tube, you will roast them girls in veg and will for sure have many problems before you even get to flip the lights.....I went outta my way for you bc u said u wanted honest advice so here is what i think is a good set up
-600W MH/HPS ballast and bulbs
-Portable A/C and Heat Unit (12,000-15,000 BTU) not cheap.
-6" Ducting
-4x4x7 Grow Tent
-6" carbon filter and 400 cfm 6" inline fan
-6" cool tube or air cooled hood.
All together, i would expect to pay a grand (with dirt and pots and nutes)....but u can clone and run a perpetual grow to where it evens out.....eventually
that will mask smell, you will have full enviromental control, and enough light to produce some good buds..........you wanted advice there it is dude...straight up thats not cheap, but its the right way to do it, and i would rather give u the right way to do it then the cheap way......and we havent even discussed nutes and mediums........LIKE I SAID BEFORE IT ADDS UP.......so take that honestly into consideration before you even think that you will turn out decent smoke.
