There is a reason why marijuana is best cured and not dried fully then smoked. Many people do this for a profit but if you're seeking out a profit, by all means dry the hell out of your pot and give your customers no-good-grass-tasting bud. They'll cut you out real quick. Having uncured bud will get your respect level down so fast, you'll just have pot that is best used for edibles because you didn't take care of it.
Chemically your pot changes best slowly. Ever heard of cured meats? They cure meats in salts and spices for a duration of time and it is never hurried. The juices are soaked up and then the spices and salt cure the meat so that the surface of the meat is protected against spoilage but it also preserves the taste of the meat itself.
Having something done right from the beginning sets yourself up for success.
If you're adamant about something like this, do it alone otherwise why bother asking for advice when you're looking for a one-way street? Urging you to re-think your plan and dry the stuff then cure it. Chemically the pot breaks down on a molecular level, the chlorophyll degrades and the flavors come out in a far more interesting scale. I couldn't stress how many people go through an expensive grow or grow plants right and then decide to cut time by using rough methods to dry their pot. You'll just end up with an inferior product that could have been fantastic if handled correctly from the beginning.
Just No... i didnt say i was going to over dry and then sell/smoke i said i was going to remove the water as fast as possible before curing.. so i am still going to cure it, give it time for the chlorophyll to breakdown and the flavours to come out.
On top of this im going to remove as much chlorophyll and starch as possible though a flushing technique.
How can you not see that having buds wet for longer than needed + constantly changing humidity inside itself leads to mildew, you may not see it but its there, deep in the bud not enough to see but its there. mildew spores are in the air 24/7 landing on your plant throughout its grow cycle. They only activate and start to grow if the conditions are correct, For example the limbo period between wet and dry
im NOT speeding up the time between the chop ad the smoke im purely speeding up the time between wet and cure. so that it is has the exact same water levels as bud ready for the jar but in less time...
the advice im asking for is more about fine tuning.
