How Bernie Sanders would transform the nation

The elimination of the inferior races were "social programs" in Nazi Germany too.

Careful what you wish for when you allow SOME people the ability to use force to make others comply with their brilliant ideas.
The elimination of inferior races was never mentioned so that's a pretty big leap. That and we know better now a days than that and it's not so simple as it was a 'social program' in Nazi Germany, but rather a set of policies that made 'National Comrades' and 'Racial enemies.'

Democrats try to take credit for social security. But the truth is, their German friends invented it over a century ago

How much are you willing to bet on this? Because social welfare programs were expanded in the Roman Empire under the Emperor Trajan and this was one of the earliest forms of social security.

@Not GOP Doing a little more research, we can see The English Poor Act of 1601 as another early form of social security, and Otto von Bismarck introducing one of the first welfare systems for the working class of Germany. Then there was the National Insurance system in England in 1911 before the Social Security Act of 1935 which established social security here in the US. Now let's go onto your assertion of "Over a century ago [it was made in Germany]." When did Otto von Bismarck introduce welfare for the working class? 1885. 1935 - 1885 = 50 years.

When will Democrats make up their mind? First you all say it's not a welfare program, and then when it fits your argument, you insist that it is. Can't have it both ways

The Social Security Act is a piece of social welfare legislation, but continue to deflect how wrong you were.

Why are you subtracting from 1935? The year is not 1935. Your posts don't seem very intelligent. The English poor act was the English poor act. Bismarck's social security, was social security. See the difference? Now subtract 2015 from 1889, and see what number you come up with smart guy. You can do it. How long ago was social security invented?

Oh so we just now invented Social Security? Because I'm pretty sure social security came about as part of FDR's New Deal with the Social Security Act of 1935.

@Not GOP The Social Security Act, Pub.L. 74–271, 49 Stat. 620, enacted August 14, 1935, now codified as 42 U.S.C. ch. 7.
I post that social security was invented over a century ago,
and then you tell me I'm wrong because progressives ripped the idea off German Socialists in 1935.
If you're going to go way out of your way to tell me I'm wrong, then at least be right...

Wait what's that smell?
Could it be that something is rotten in Denmark?

Kind of funny because there's two versions.

"I am a Danish schoolteacher, making about $65,000 a year. We get free education, you don’t have to pay for going to a doctor, the hospital, and also are paying our students for getting the education they want.

“We can afford to have our own house, a car, we all get 6 weeks vacation a year, and women get a year maternity leave when she has a baby, every time......fathers get maternity leave too, just not that long. Everybody gets a pension from the age 65. I have lived in the USA, but prefer the Danish way of taking care of everyone. Some may say we pay high taxes, maybe, but we get so much more than you get in the USA.

“You pay on average $8,500 per year in deductibles and many fees for healthcare. Your higher education is over $21,000 a year. We pay our students to learn. You have no job security, vacations, or any other benefits that we do.

“Everyone in the world wants the American dream. Every Dane has that opportunity."

Also the Danes consider themselves one of the happiest countries on Earth.

Well here you're clearly wrong because Otto von Bismarck was of the right political ideology. He was not a socialist, he didn't care for socialism, but he saw a need in his country. I get what you're saying now. However, social security was not invented by the Germans because as I pointed out the Emperor Trajan enacted a form of social welfare which included taking care of the elderly, there's also the Oddfellows and Masons, there were Guilds which would take care of elderly workers, and part of the English Poor Act also helped out the elderly. I'm not sure where you pulled out of your ass that Democrats take the sole credit for inventing social security. Democrats do take credit for creating social security here in the United States and there's a big difference there. Your statement is completely disingenuous.

But it's kinda disheartening to realize that I'll be paying higher taxes to enable people to get for free what I worked hard to pay for myself. And that's a natural feeling that people like myself will have.
people like yourself?

you mean, white supremacists.

Using logic to speak to the irrational in arguments like these is like tilting at windmills, I'm afraid.

Even the blurb about Denmark above is misleading; only GASOLINE POWERED CARS are taxed at such a high rate, specifically to encourage electric car purchases- which are a far better fit for Denmark's energy production infrastructure.

In America, we just shift such costs onto the shoulders of those least able to protest.

Unfortunately or fortunately my belief is based on science and history while you and yours either ignore or manipulate both.
You just betrayed yourself by using the weird 'belief'. That's not a word that has any place in science; it's either experimentally supported or it's bullshit.

You're spouting bullshit- especially when you attempt to hijack the credibility of the scientific establishment by saying your 'belief' is based on science.

To be clear; both science AND history are quite clear that your 'belief' is exactly, narcissistically wrong.

Would Bernie make it illegal not to talk with your hands?

You'd swear he was tripping balls and speaking through invisible puppets on his hands.
