Well, we can all clearly see who's mentally handicapped now. You clearly never understood how homecoming courts worked. Traditionally, historically, and still today homecoming king and queen are students who have contributed the most to their school since homecoming is about welcoming alumni back.

When I went to school a Debbie Downs would have never been allowed with "normal" kids and were sent to schools with other special needs kids. When I got into physical therapy and started interacting with Debbie I realized how loving and full of life these kids generally are.

I have no problem believing she won the kids of her school over with a wonderful personality. I actually think it's pretty cool if that's the case. If it's just a "look how progressive we are, we voted a tard as HC queen because we are awesome" then I agree it sucks. I'm going to go with giving kids credit until it's proven otherwise.
