Stopped me a million times.
Have id?

And we're back to questioning legal over decrim or just plain legal because the term legal and the route may not fit with a personal definition or perfect outcome.

Why is it there are a handful of people arguing for anything but legal in any form over the status quo or a partial (still gonna fine you) approach.

Is this a weed forum or not?
LOL...I dont know about you. But my first smoke..drink...toke...all stolen from my parents. Once I acquired a taste for these things, getting them is easy.

Fake ID...the shoulder tap...friends with older siblings....older friends....you get the picture?

Im not against legalization...Im against corporate control. Im against being told its too dangerous for me to grow but these rich people can.

Oh yeah, I can't argue with how it was. I did the same things.

Tbh, I don't see anyone being told they cannot grow under a legal system. There may be limits or strict penalties for bootlegging. But I can't fathom that here in Canada it would be illegal to grow a plant that was legalized.

You're talking about regulating a legal substance or substances.
They're still legal to obtain, possess and consume.

I dont need to impose my vices upon others to be happy. Smoking outside or drinking in a bar or at home really doesn't hurt, neither does not burning one as I walk down the street.

Fines and/or jail bother me far more.

Legalization is a great start
That's the point I'm trying to make man.
You don't regulate something that's "legal"
these days obesity is a real problem and food is legal yet no one tries to regulate it. The kid at the counter of mcdicks isn't goi g to say sorry sir I can't sell u anymore bigmacs today cus u have already had ten and its our tax dollars that will be paying to keep u alive in a few years.

How jt can stand there using the word legal boggles my mind after he voted for c 10. Meanwhile everyone knows his mom was banging an intervenus drug user, like seriously.

They are only considering "legalization" for their own financial gain. No politician gives a rats ass about patients or how many people are in jail. Money that's it.

Legal to the upper class means it's ok as long as we are the only ones profiting

The only thing really legal about cigs or booze is the collection of revenue oozing out of em.
Cigs aren't legal anymore. Buying them and dying from them is but seriously how can anyone say tobacco is legal meanwhile you can't spoke it outside in your car or even in most apartments.
If that's your idea of legal, fill your boots.
Same with booze.
It's legal to buy but crack a beer and walk down the street and see how long you still consider it legal.

Also the cig n booze argument is dumb since they both kill more people in one day then mj has since God was young.
I think you're definition of legal is a little skewed. Driving is legal but regulated, fishing is legal but regulated, everything is regulated to some degree. I can see where you are coming from, you should be able to grow weed just like tomatoes...but it'll never be like that. I think we are in a great position to finally end prohibition an shape legalization. We don't just roll over and take what they give us, we demand they sit down with all concerned parties and come up with a working model.

YES!!!!

Don't fight legalization, even if it doesn't fit your/my/our idea of legal.
Let's just get it legal and go from there. We've all probably fought for and stood up for this most of our lives.

Vote legal and don't accept anything less.

Not much in life isn't regulated.
But I'm not the one saying everything is legal

Perhaps your all right and it's a matter of perspective we all think legal means something Different
when you go to a liquor store and want to buy you weeks or weekend's worth to imbibe, that's OK but if you came in and wanted to buy enough for 6 months or a year, i believe you'd need a permit.
i am all for legal but I really want to know what medical looks like

I think that only applies to orders that you need a liquor license for, like socials etc (when you're selling booze) I'm not sure, but don't think there is a cap on purchases for non sale consumption.

no limits on possession limits for booze or cigs, just regs for sales, imports etc.

i sit corrected. i just spoke with the liquor board here and they said you can buy as much as you want....it must have changed because when i went about 25 years ago, they said you had to get a license if you wanted to buy a whole bunch.

A lot of legal talk, sounding like a lawyer's office in here ;) Bottom line is "legal" means something different to all of us, but one common theme I hear from this community and in my offline circles is we all want and expect the right to grow our own meds. I don't give a rats ass who gets in other than Harper, nor their policies because we all know it's going to take some time for any of them to make some real changes to the current fucked up system, and they'll all want their tax cut. But whether it's legal, decriminalized, or any other term they want to come up with, we should have the ability to grow our own.

We have a street party happening up my way Monday night, everyone was invited except those that had Con signs on their lawn. I haven't been this excited about an election, ever. Good riddance to Harper, let's hope he lands in 3rd or worse, then his supporters will dump him as well. Maybe he'll leave the country and go work with his ideological buddy Putin #@$!

I bought some fireworks to light up the beach when Harper is humiliated on Monday. I think the last time I was this excited about an election was when P.E.T. got voted out the last time.
