The Ford Nation rally in Etobicoke was attended by approx 2200 people. Harper did not take the stage with the fords but did have Doug introduce him. Harper came to the stage and thanked the fords and made his speach.

In Winnipeg, the Trudeau rally was attended by approx 3000 people. According to many statements posted online from attendees, there was huge line ups, traffic jams and an excited atmosphere at the venue.

The numbers matter, the venues matter.
I'm surprised the fords didn't draw bigger numbers for Harper, yet happy to see they couldn't.

Conservative spokesman Kory Teneycke declined later to comment on whose idea it was to stage the rally, saying it’s “not one person who makes decisions for the campaign,” and we “don’t talk about individual decisions . . . but it was a great event,” he added."

yep and then he's gone....and hopefully legalization will be not too far off.....
I can't do decriminalization.....but the NDP had me leaning that way....
its been con here for the last 80 years....so that may not change for me...meaning we may still have one of those crooks...representing us...

The same conservative talking points.
Whether he really believes what he says or not, it's still just the same old, tired and completely out to lunch ideology.

Funny how he pointed out the mj lobby, which would consist of lp's fighting against Harper. lp's may have a bad rep around here, but at least the cause has legal business interests stepping in to the fight and helping the general public gain rights to something that should be legal IMO.

when that jury returns with a verdict, they are constantly shown to be out of touch and delusional

i think the Fords were popular with the working class/working poor no?.. Harper has no support there.. was just a hail Mary.
