How long to go - Any Advice

Also how would i know when i am in the last 2 weeks to harvest thats the part im finding hard to get my head around as these trichs seem to turn from clear to cloudy to amber fairly quickly right? so how would i know, im only in my 3rd day of week 6 flower now so i am hoping i have a good 2 weeks left of flower before flushing as im hoping these buds double in size in this period to give me a lot better yield i hope that the case anyway?

when curing your bud you want to put them in Cool Dry area I use my Closet seems I never go into it unless i am turning bud over on my Screens Put them on Screens for well in my area its been weeks of drying time on the Screens then into a plastic bucket with a lid on very lightly, a few days in there then into a jar, Curing your bud the right way will make all the difference in the way your bud tastes, that lies in the first toke tastes great then after that every toke don't taste the same., So if you take your time and cure it right every toke will taste like the frist one.

Great info Bear again and Greenthumbs, i will upload some updated pics very soon but just opened the tent and light is kaput, so im having to go out for one now, i didnt check the plants last night so will 24hrs without light bother then at this stage am not sure its been 24hrs but it could of been as like i say i usually check once every 2 days but now it will be once a day haha?

Pix look great. Nice healthy plants. U seem to have a knack for it. Lol at ur wifey who says ur having an affair with ur plants. Cannabis isn't addictive however growing is. For ur next run try Pineapple Express. Great scent and a prolific bloomer and all TGA gear was first rate albeit smaller blossoms.
Only strain I ever had probs with were the Blueberry strains. Girlscout cookies was a big hit also.

anyway, ok, so trichs do form fairly early on, but not in abundance, and really there is no reason to moniter them until later in yr grow, but yes, there will be some. using yr microscope, look around the bud sites, at the leafs on and around the bud and thats where you'll see them. some strains are heavier trich producers then others, so keep that in mind. ghost train haze#1 is a VERY heavy producer, and the high it packs is nothing short of a small miracle, lol. ive come to find that strain has ALOT to do with yr final product, id say 70/30. 70% genetics, 30% grower skill and technique. my #'s may be a little high, but you get my point, i think.
i personally flush when i'm at the final 2 weeks. i am talking soil here...just to be clear...
so its just ph'd water from the last two weeks to harvest day, after running 8-9 gallons thru. you want to see the water running off to appear clear, so however much ph'd water that may take, depending on pot size.

also, no need to apologize, i enjoy helping out where i can. if i dont have an answer, someone else will...
idk if yr familiar with curing...after you harvest, that can be a whole different animal entirely!!! but so important, if you like good tasting herb!!lol

Hi mate, Ive posted some new pics for you to have a look at, also i have looked for these trichs all night not found anything at all around bud sites not sure if it me or the microscope or they have hardly got any, i can understand what you mean by amber pistils tho as some of them are turning amber/brownie coloured now so i would of likely pulled them early if it wasnt for you telling me otherwise! so thanks again

Found the trichs, 95% all clear 5% Cloudy no amber at all, although the 5% cloudy are just the heads not the stalks all the stalks are all clear to be honest

ya thats normal, exactly how they're supposed to be. Yr right on track, and cutting before yr vacation sounds perfect.

i think i was more saying NOT to rely on the pistils, because they kinda do their own thing from strain to strain, but to look at trichs instead. Maybe you juss worded it wrong....cause it Sounds like you know what yr looking for now,

Hey dude, yea ive been out to feed my babies tonight, they are looking great to be honest, really bulking up now 1st day of week 7 flowering, do you think they will get much bigger in the next 2 weeks as they are quite big already to be honest but id love to get them to around 5oz a plant would be unreal haha

that would be great that is about what I get of each lady, around 4 to 6 Oz per plant, and yes they will gain weight now, a bit of molasses the sugars will really make them pop over the next week or two. Your Ladies look wonderful and you have did a excellent job Steven. You just keep doing what your doing and everyone in your circle will be SPINNING :)

May sound a weird question but what is molasses? and how do you use it? or can i use something like Cannaboost instead? I have plenty of Cannaboost left

all it is, is Sugar dark and emusified it looks really dark and you would put aobut a half cup into a gallon of your water and use it to water, Look it up on the web, I seen it in the medical bible. it was quite a bit more to the bud he used it one verses not. I will see if i can take the pic and post it here for you.

molasses,honeyand other sugars are said to increase soil microbials, enhance regrowth, and make the plant use of nitrogen more effective Molasses will increase the energy level of the plant and act as a mild natural fungicide. Mollasses is the Secret Ingredient in many Organic ferilizers.

Hey bear, Thanks for that,☺ i have just been out to check trichs still all clear on all 5 plants so it looks like its going to definatly go another 2 weeks of flowering and then 1 week of flushing

My plan is to flower for the rest of this week, then flower next week, then 1 week of flower with lights on 10/14 and then 5 days of flushing with plain phd water then 48 Hours with no light and chop on Nov 1st

Sound all okay too you here are some pics from today
