I've been reading about led lights for quite some time, is there anyone can tell me what does UVB mode use for? And what's the function for UVA and UVB leds? I only know UV is an effective insect deterrent. It is deadly to small pests that like to damage plants.:confused:

Google search for a thread called.."UVB VS NO UVB Side by Side" its on another forum

or pick up the infamous book.. Marijuana Botany: An Advanced Study, by Robert Connell Clarke and read about how UV-B light and how it is important for creating a "fully realized" cannabinoid profile.

I agree with CanadianOne...
Diy or you will have to pay ridiculous amount of $$$ to get a good panel...to be honest I find todogrowled pretty cheap for the quality part they use,but it is in Spain and shipping cost may change the price from simple to double...I think it is a good alternative for U.E growers!
Try to find an unhappy cree/vero user's post somewhere on riu you will have white hair before you find one...or maybe you already have some but you know what I mean!

Fellas,

I dont have a grow journal but i have some photogenic beauties. These are all growing under vero 29 and cxb 3590 combo light UVB added.

There is one exception, JB X MS, that popped outside 7/15 been outside ever since. It will be coming inside once I get a little flower room space. I think I finally got a good structure for production on that plant. I've had a few set backs in my training game lately.

All plants are growing roots through the bottom of their fabric pots.

In my other tent, I've got a couple of Ace of Spade S1's going, along with a Grape Ape x Platinum Cookies cross foundling.

Ace of Spades (Jack's Cleaner pheno)

Very narrow, sativa style, leafs on this one. Seems to be a light yielder, so far. Looks like it takes after the Jack's Cleaner side of the family. She has a very sweet, candy-like, aroma. She's just starting to show some decent resin production.

Ace of Spades (Hybrid pheno)

Very thick, fluffy, pistils on this girl. Looks to be a better yielder than her sister although her resin production is a bit behind. She also has a rather sweet aroma, but it's much more complex than her sisters, and I really enjoy it. I'm hoping this one will show me some Black Chery Soda characteristics.

Already has great resin production at week 4 of flower and is filling in nicely. Her overall structure resembles GA but her increased resin production screams PC.
