Sorry, that's not an option with the SSI program. VA, I don't know, I am waiting for a response from them.....Now the moral dilemma presented to me is if I should turn them in...or not????
Hmmm?

No, they aren't. Nobody lives in a vacuum. We all have families, friends, and neighbors...and people talk. Especially in small towns....I'm telling you now anyone smart enough to game the system is smart enough to keep their mouth shut.
I get it. I've seen it. I don't think its a rampant problem. Nobody likes to let money go. Its the government. No, they aren't. Nobody lives in a vacuum. We all have families, friends, and neighbors...and people talk. Especially in small towns.
Doesn't mean your system isn't similar to our which it is I currently live in USA all my points are still validI am talking about the USA, not Canada, no idea what is going on in their system.
The VA does not have an unlimited budget. Every dollar into the fraudster pocket is a dollar that might go to a genuinely disabled veteran. What is particularly twisted is that the fraudster, who has no shame, pride, or conscience, will put a lot more effort into getting a payout than those that genuinely need it as they do have pride. I'm not talking guys that lost limbs or got shot up. The vanguard of VA disability fraud is for people that the VA cannot find anything really wrong with them, but enough persistence and a big enough medical file.... I witnessed this process with active duty personnel as well while in the Army."Fraud" is a smoke screen for people that wish to cut benefits for the needy. It's never as bad as they portray it to be, it's a small percentage overall. It's an excuse to deny benefit funding. It would cost more to investigate the abusers than they are losing to them & it would only slow things down even more. And that is part of their plan also.
I know the system has abuse, but if it were any harder to get benefits hardly anyone would have them. It's a small percentage overall. The VA does not have an unlimited budget. Loosing track of the true fraud, Corporations shouldn't be getting tax brakes while VA gets less funding, especially during a war. They should have some "skin" in the game. The VA does not have an unlimited budget. Every dollar into the fraudster pocket is a dollar that might go to a genuinely disabled veteran. You don't seem to know what is going on in our system either. I have never seen you express any opposition to the fact that a quarter of all homeless are vets, or thatso many vets die waiting for bennies to kick in, or that 22 vets a day kill themselves. You come in here bitching about what you say is fraud. This case you speak of, is the guy a vet? Did he serve his country? Are you his fucking doctor? If he is service connected, he is not defrauding the system. This is how the system works and it is a vast improvement over what we had 5 years ago. If you're against the gov't paying bennies, why don't you protest against wars?I am talking about the USA, not Canada, no idea what is going on in their system.
Agreed, but that is an entirely different issue.Loosing track of the true fraud, Corporations shouldn't be getting tax brakes while VA gets less funding, especially during a war. They should have some "skin" in the game.
Yes, doctors can never be deceived. They are angels, and openly wear halos in our society, particularly government ones. As for your "service connected" comments, that's just ridiculous. In regard to the wars you speak of, I am vehemently opposed to all of them. Just about all of the recent ones have been oil-related. Get out a global map and have a look. You don't seem to know what is going on in our system either. Having PTSD is not "gaming the system".....your an assEasy to game the SS and VA system, automatically qualify for it with one word. PTSD.
One last comment at this time: doublejj I am aware of your record and I would like to point out that it is not Vietnam vets that are gaming the system. Based on anecdotal evidence, I would say it is coming from people that enlisted voluntarily from the late eighties onward. When I revisit the topic, I will have better data. See everybody then.Having PTSD is not "gaming the system".....your an ass
Volunteering for service does not give you a different type of PTSD....One last comment at this time: doublejj I am aware of your record and I would like to point out that it is not Vietnam vets that are gaming the system. Can I like that twice. Actually gave me chill bumps.
Sorry, I should not have included your quote directed at another poster. I am not referring specifically to PTSD.Volunteering for service does not give you a different type of PTSD....
Not really, you want to sweep up all the nails on the racetrack. I wish to stop the tractor trailer loosing his load up ahead of us.Agreed, but that is an entirely different issue.
