Was reading an old article the other day about adjusting npk ratios throughout the growth cycles. Basically the theory was/is that you just swing/switch nitrogen and phosphorus from veg to flower keeping potassium relatively the same ratio all through. Makes sense, right? Basically it is that simple when you think about it.
So it got me thinking a little bit and looking around at nutrients yet again, sigh. And was looking at dyna-gro and 3 of their products would almost fall perfectly into that theory of npk adjustment. Foliage pro 9-3-6 for veg, All pro 7-7-7 for transistion then ending with their bloom 3-12-6. You get the N for veg and P for flower, keeping K relatively the same.
I know theres a lot of people who will say duh, of course you adjust npk throughout the growth cycle. But you will also hear people who will swear by using one product all throughout. Whichever way, I like simplicity and the above mentioned method seems like a simple enough, and maybe effective, way to adjust npk ratios.
What do you all think? Pretty straight forward. Should work better than any one those products by themselves?
