I was just wondering if it is common for bottom leaves to slough off towards the end of flowering? Lots of crunchy leaves on the floor and still have a week to go. Should I bother messing with it this far along? Thanks in advance.
You have a classic case of overfertization.
The nutrient used was delivered too often/too much....Then, you started a high P bloom food too early.
While some leaf die off is expected....I would call yours well over that (
remove the dead leaves). The high P is the problem there and it's not fixable in the sense that the leaves will recover.
You can slow that down by watering with straight water for a week.....pH to 6.5 and use that....Then restart nutrient use and reduce amount used by 25%.
Avoid that next time by not switching to the "bloom" food til week 3 after you flip the lights to 12/12...
