Not in Canada. They can't get a tax number because all dispensarys are illigal. So an illigal bussiness collecting tax has no way of remitting that tax to the Feds. It's just another cash grab.

I have a better understanding of what's going on in Canada now. My comments were in regards to dispensaries in the State of New Mexico. Either way, I hope the Canadian growers keep growin.

Try googling the ted smith case of the buyers club, he had 12 growers and only 1 got nabbed for not paying taxes. A family member went to Laurier university with him and we speak monthly or so..

Actually you don't know much at all, considering HC allowed LPs to buy from DGs before March 31st 2013. Don't come on here throwing claims around about well known members who have been here helping the community. Another point, you dont "sell lbs for 1500-2000" you bill for your contracted services [IE: 180$ per plant trim x 10 = 1800$] You are completely welcome to pay taxes (14.54% for individual contractor in Ontario) and using deposit slips at the bank. Like i said before...sometimes you never know whos on here. Could be a top lawyer (you know who you are ), possibly a LP, possible club owners, the next Smith/Allard (ya you too ) and let me be the 1st to tell you i know a DG on here with a couple hundred lights paying taxes.

Secondly if it weren't for people taking risks and selling weed since the 60's ...where the hell would we have got it. I for one have some gratitude for those who took chances to sell weed. even if they made money. It meant we could get it. Until the 80's growing in Canada was pretty much not happening.
SO for me, I have no problem with weed dealers, BM or CC. Other drugs...I have no interest in and don't support it or wouldn't get involved in any way.

While they here about how people can afford meds. Now look at the lps grow and sell it for profit cc dont grow it but sell it. I don't why you seem to think I'm a sell out because I recognize a big hurdle to us being able to grow our own. Most of which seem to have a problem is you think I'm against the cc's. In a perfect world I think if they had a one time charge to greet grower and patient so the deal is between the people who work and use product. This would be fair to all. But history has shown us that dg's and even patients have been selling there extra to cc's for profit. Thats cool for rec but not for medical. This why they are the problem that we can't grow they abused the system and we suffer. The lps are only good for people who cant grow. Dude I just want the ability to legally grow and not deal with every one else's scams
