I just have 2 lights right now. Running sunshine adv mix. Added castings and perlite. Botanicare and couple other additives.

6 week veg. Lots of topping no training. Lollipopped and staked. Heavy defoliation. They are basically just top 1/3 of plant all chunkers. This what they look like under the canopy. Bottom pic is upper canopy and colas.

Nice, I've read up on the defoliation teqnique, do you use it from veg through flower? I remove some of my upper fan leaves sometimes to get better penetration but never stripped my plants.

I "lollipop" them about 10 days before flowering. Than after the stretch around week 3 (day 21) I remove all the sucker branches and un-developed flower sites. I go in and strip off all the nodes under the top 3-4 and cut off all of those suckers as well. And throughout I will remove big shade leaves to open up the canopy if I see fit.

Im working on another defoliation technique which I will be stripping off all of the fan leaves 2 weeks before harvest when I start flushing and see how that works. Its supposed to increase cola size and speed up ripening of entire plant. Im gonna try it on 1 or 2 and see how they compare. I know defoliation is an on going argument but I do it and it works. All I grow is chunks and have no bullshit or larf/popcorn to worry about and I really do believe my main colas grow bigger because of it. See how they look in a few more weeks!

How does that RX solution mix up and everything? Is it pretty concentrated? What do they use in their bases, Is it mostly synthetic based or organic I couldnt open their webpage for some reason? But Im definetely gonna check that out. I actually have to go to the store tomorrow and pick up a bunch of coco and few bags perlite. Im gonna see if they still have those Harpin packets down there maybe grab a few packs if they have them in stock.

10ml/gal light
15ml medium
20 heavy

They have a progressive feeding chart that's really simple. They told me it has a low salt concentration and it's advertised as "naturally" based. I looked up the labeling laws and there's several categories between full synthetic and organic fertilizers, "naturally based" is one of them. They use a two part grow and feed, Harpin proteins and that's it, there's amminos, fulvic/humic acids and other biostimulants. The also using a different form of phosphorous that's supposed to be better and some patented technologies in their system. Their website claims they tested their product against a "leading" competitors 2 part and 3 supplements and got better results.

Oh ok thats good info. So most likely it is a blend of synthetics and organics. My ownly issue with such a claim that they used products against "leading competitors" and outperformed them is that they don't name the company or say what part of the results were better you know. Thats one of those big claims that should have big results and alot of proof you know?

Overall, Im sure it is a really good nutrient though and considering the reviews I have heard regarding those Harpin proteins I will assume they have very good quality products overall. I think that foliar spray is their main product that helps them sell their base nutrients and additives. Kind of like Roots Excellurator from H&G. Just as an example.

Im gonna be heading to the store in a couple hours and go check that out, hopefully they have some packets I can sample on some of my girls. Do you use that foliar spray all thru veg and early bloom? Just wondering how often they want you to use that stuff. I know its supposed to go along way. If I remember they said that one of the small sample packs is enough for a few lights and you didn't need to use very much of it at all which is nice.

They don't name the other brand but I get a feeling it's probably Advanced Nutrients. One thing that sets them apart is they have their own R&D facility in colorado and the actually post their results publicly unlike Advanced who says they do research but are vague about it and won't actually tell you what's in their products.

You can use Harpin spray from seedling all the way up until harvest, it doesn't leave any residue. One thing that concerned me at first was the pesticide labeling on that product but further research revealed that it is a labeling requirement by the government since it's original function was for pest managment as it strengthens the plants defenses but in turn also increases vigor and yield, potency.

Yea their close, watching those trichs each day. I got a 10lb Co2 tank I've been playing with but not using it this run until I can get a dehumidifier so I'm able to seal my tent up.

Cool. Lmk how many days you finish up at. Gonna start preparing for my final 2 weeks wanna try be ready and time them right. So far it seems likes it's going to be the 10 weeks we're looking at on average though.

Looking good man!

Yep, I think I'm going to call it at 8 weeks for this pheno, trichs are turning milky. Gonna give it a dark period before I cut em down. I'll keep updated on the harvest, post harvest and smoke report once it's cured up. I bought a larger glass jar for curing and storing some quantity :)

How many actual days did you let it run? Just dont rush and cut early you know, everything I read says like 63-70 days but you never know could def be done early. I got some pieces on day 42 that look like they are almost done its really weird. Never ran it before so this is the expiremental run of this. Next one will def be better once I know exactly what she likes and timing it all correctly.

It does say that there is a pheno of it that blooms quickly and harvests alot sooner so maybe you got that pheno in your garden which would be awesome. I hate waiting 9-10 weeks for shit to finish!!

Harvested at 64 days yesterday, mine looked ready around the 7th week as far as bulk weight but they kept frosting up and added a little bit of weight into week 8. I went by trichome maturation ultimately, not all the hairs had turned but the ones that had were going dark.

I'll post some pics soon, pulled a 12.5 hr night shift yesterday and came home and chopped, spent over 2 hrs trimming and had to go to bed, didn't even get through half the crop so I'm pretty happy on the yield so far for having to flip these girls earlier than I wanted. Interestingly there was kind of a hint of creamy/vanilla in my tent while I was harvesting but the bud itself is fruity/sour/sage

Yeah thats def same pheno I have then. Because Im just starting week 7 and they look like they have put on all their weight and are focusing on frosting up and finishing. One plant which has been acting weird since early veg actually looks done in week 6, except the trichs havent turned but it isnt anywhere near as large as the rest but is by far the stinkiest and frostiest out of the 12. Really weird plant man smh!!

So yah maybe you right on and these things finish up earlier than the 10 weeks they say online. Everyone said minimum like 65-77 days on seedfinder which is pretty accurrate from everything else I have seen. Def strange but good thing if they finish up earlier then that, makes me like this strain even more!! Cant wait for the final shots and update looking good my dude!!

Got the major part of the trimming done yesterday, drying it out in my tent before I jar it which will give me about a week off before I put my six clones in which have been vegging outside while these we're flowering. I'm going to let this cure for awhile after it dries in which I'll post one more update with maybe a pic of the final cure, weight and smoke report.

That shit looks exactly like mine right now, nice robust orange hairs, with the pointy christmas tree shaped flowers. Super frosty and smells incredible.
