IF I lived in the city it would be a bigger deal. I think it might extend his life but I
will never know because he LOVES
to play outside.

I could selfishly lock him in the house so I wouldnt lose him to nature but that is a kinder gentler way of taking his nuts. I think if he could speak
he would insist his night life and his balls be respected.

Im just being goofy now but the feelings are real.

Hey, if you're worried about cost, tomcats are the cheapest to neuter. I also treat my own animals with herbs and antibiotics from the farm store when necessary to save on costs. You can get the FIV vaccine for about 3 dollars at a farm supply store and administer it yourself. I can deliver babies, lance boils, treat infections, etc.

Time will tell.

if i had any way i wouldn't spay or neuter my animals but the thing is the reason why so many animals are killed in shelters is because of over population. there is an estimated 6-8 million animals homeless in the us because of overpopulation and pet parents allowing their animals outside and able to breed.

you have a pet, you take your responsibility as a pet owner spay and neuter mate.

I hear ya. But I do have a way.
I live on in a forrest with cougars, bobcat,
bears etc. There is a very small feral
cat population. But in general I agree Pet owners should not get pets and then dump them on my road without getting them fixed. .lol
There are people building closer every day though so it is becoming an issue
If I do get him fixed ill make my wife take him. I dont want to be the one who leaves him with the bad guys.
Ill go pick him up and again be his hero.

I think thats what it boils down to.

To the other poster its not about money.
I generally vaccinate my own pets unless
it is something I can not get then I let the vet do it. Im not up on herbal remedies
but I appreciate the heads up.

Yeah. I know it has benefits
and like I said "fixed" most of my animals.
I guess i have a weird spiritual thought process
that states part of who I am and who I was born
to be includes testicals and all that came with them.

Like foreskinning me was bad enough without asking.
I can't imagine if they cut my balls off for my own good
or because sex drive creates problems for society.

Maybe I'm getting soft.

We live in the woods and typically
cats don't last more than a few years
before being eaten. They taste amazballs!!!
In the past I have
neutered and in the end it dosent
stop animals from killing them.
They simply don't get laid any longer.

One thing I know is that my cat loves his
life and that life revolves ppl around those balls.

I think were gonna keep them.

I got my cat fixed and he refused to stay inside. He would attack anything that came in the yard. He ended up getting eaten by a coyote after ten years. Now I think I have a ghost cat. A while back I was going to sleep and I could have sworn he jumped on the bed and flopped down next to me. So ghost cats are pretty cool I save money on cat litter and food.

I would suggest to neuter.
Its the reason people dont neuter and spay why we have so many animals killed each year , cats can have many kittens,
along with that you have the male spraying
I would suggest if you choose not to neuter to keep your cat indoors, your cat should be kept indoors anyways

Thank you. I love animals all but I'm tired of wild stray cats killing chickens and rabbits. I've had stray cats get under the house and tear duct work up humping and fighting.

Be responsible and spay and neuter your animals if you can't control their breeding.

I would choose to give up my balls to be a Siamese house cat. If I were a cat. I'm not giving up my current set of balls. I like them and enjoy using them.. If I'm a cat and the take my balls would they still shave my scrotum regularly? LOL
