This thread pertains to racism. If you don't want to believe that racism exists or that it isn't important to discuss then don't comment here. I have to disagree. There are currently any where between 14000 and 18000 slaves in the United states right now.

And I don't think it's the same. I think it's worse in regards to slavery. There are more people enslaved right now than in the 350 years of the African slave trade.

Racism doesn't exist in any tangible form here, probably cos Europe is a melting pot tho.

It would seem Americas "race problem" as an outsider is that the people who seem to keep the torches of racial tension burning are the ones who claim to be opposed to it.

black people of south Africa during apartheid (have no power) are permitted to claim racism against whites
black people of south Africa after apartheid was abolished (people of power) are forbidden to claim racism against whites

Either way, noone alive today was a slave nor has anyone alive today ever owned a slave...

Im not a racist, I don't know any racists and my country is largely accepting of decent people looking for work from anywhere.

Yous are the ones crying about racism, not me, I just said the only way to move past it is to stop listening to the race baiters.

By all means tho, keep the vitriol flowing, it says alot about your character.
