what is wrong with my babies

My plants are about two weeks old now. They've been looking great. (other than all of the stretching they did from sitting in my window sill). Recently, I noticed some of my plants had dry wrinkled looking tips that curls up a bit. One day later I notice one of my healthiest plants leaf had turned yellowish brown with spots. After observing my plants I now notice a few other plants are doing the same thing. What is this? And how do I stop it? BTW I haven't fed them any nutes.

Maybe its because you havnt added any nutes why its doing that, but, off the top of me head, put a sprinkle of epsom salts at start of veg and start of flower

I didn't want to start feeding them too early. My plan is to start feeding them after I do my transplant, which is gonna probably be tomorrow. Since I haven't been adding any nutes, seeing those spots got me concerned. Never had this problem so early. Maybe I'm overreacting. I'm gonna do what you said and give them a little nutes tommorow after I finish mytransplanting and see how things go from there.

See, this depends on if the soil ya using already has feed in it, if it has and you transplant it and feed it, youll be overdosing the outer layer of soil

I used a seed starter mix with no nutrients. They've been getting all their nutrients from their cotelydon leaves. Should I wait until they fall off to start feeding? This is the first time I used that mix so i don't have a clue.

Well, preferably you dont want it to cannabalize itself, its best to act beforehand and feed it lol

have you sprayed the leaves with water? , they look a little burnt at the edges slightly off colour
like a little bit of heat damage
they will not have any nute deficiencies at such an early stage
maybe too much water or humid/hot air around them ?

Skunkd0c I never spray the leaves and they're under a 23 watt cfl. Practically no heats coming off of it

How does water leave burns?, itd be if he was foliar feeding that itd burn the leaves.

That rust spot looks like calcium to me, probably craving for a feed

plants can grow from seed on water alone until several inches tall without showing any sign of deficiency
when water is sprayed on plants it can leave droplets that cause little burn spots when the light hits the leaves the water droplets magnify the intensity of the light

They dont get to the 6th-7th leaf node without wanting feed lol, so are all cannabis plants outdoors full of spots? jamaican spotty cannabis, aint heard of that mate

he said they are 2 weeks old
he has the plants in starter soil which contains enough nutes for the first 2 or 3 weeks

to treat plants so small and young as "deficient" or "craving for a feed" as you put it is not the best solution imo
they need a small amount of balanced food at this stage, rather than singling out "calcium" or any other deficiency at such an early stage

if you really have not heard of water droplets causing burning under lights, you can use the search function to enlighten yourself

as i have stated before i have grown plants from seed on water alone hydroponically plants do not show deficiencies until week 3-4
over 8 inches

Im not singling out calcium mate it was just a guess, basically saying to feed em with nutes(I never mentioned calcium nitrate). ive done unlimited amount of clones in jiffys, root riots & aeroponics, its only when theres salts in the water I get burns(root-it sprays and stuff), unless theres a puddle left on the plant and it wouldnt be off me spraying lol

If you are saying that that plant doesnt want feed/nutes then what do you pin the problem on then mate

Your plants look fin man. In so far as nutes I feed my plants when they are still in clone cubes and I have done it both with clone feed and regular nutes at a ppm of 300 or so. That being said when I use soil I use soil with no nutes in it, well worm castings but that's it but for the most part I use coco which has nothing in it. To chime in on the debate about spraying you can absolutely burn the fans by spraying water on them. The water basically becomes a magnifying glass and the light is the sun. That being said the burn won't destroy your plant and usually only upsets a few leafs.

could be over/under watering maybe ph fluctuation maybe a little rootbound? if you think there to long and stretchy when you transplant bury them up to the first node works great. Also remember start very light with your nutes and gradually increase. I had to learn this the hard way. Good luck!

U still don't get my point, it rains nearly every day in jamaica and you definitely dont have spotty ganja fields lmfao

i dont really see that there is a problem , they dont look terrible and they are so young, all they need is to be put in proper pots now
and have a little bit of food
i am not saying they do not require any food, i am saying they are too young and small to worry about deficiencies
and that they also do not look that sick to treat them as if they have a problem, imo they just need to get on to the next stage
(bigger pots more light etc)

as the guy is a newbie its always good imo to run through the check list of most common newbie problems
which are over watering / spraying / over feeding / burning with lights etc

i would predict that if he gets them in bigger pots on balanced food under a more powerful light
they will grow fine, as long as he does not overwater them burn them or over feed them
