o2grow emitters better than just regular air stones?

Hello,
Was just browsing Web late last night when I found this Website, http://www.o2grow.com/store They have a video on their website explaining a little bit how the emitters work, but basically they emit a much smaller oxygen bubble, (looks like mist under the water). The roots would be surrounded by the smaller air bubbles for much longer than bigger bubbles from a standard air stone which go straight up back into the air. I am wondering if anyone has herd of them or has used them? They are a bit pricey especially because I am accustomed to spending anywhere from $5 to $10 on any one air stone. Am I just late to the party? They seem pretty legit.

Explanation is on you tube also.

Seems as if you can just have one of the emitters in your rez, and pump the oxygenated water into your buckets with no air stones. That would be pretty cool.

I would think you can have it on a on/off cycle so it wouldn't over do it, maybe? I think these are pretty new, I can't really find anything on them.

I don't know anyone that would spend the money on that. For that money I could have 20 air stones in my res. Just seems crazy

Yeah I agree, they are way expensive. I just thought the technology was cool and wanted to see if it actually worked. So you know, when I get rich I can have the ultimate shit to grow with. Haha Because no matter what, I'm always growing my own.

Ok guys, I use the o2grow in ebb & flow and currently in coco. What does it do better than an air stone well it's about a 50% increase in oxygen to the root zone. My plants grow so much better with o2grow over air stones. As far as expense really it is no more expensive than some of the products we buy to try to grow stronger, healthier plants. Air stones are a waste as far as I'm concerned. I use a submersible circ to keep my nutrients mixed.
So as far as someones opinion about a product they never used, well that's just ridicules. It doesn't need to run long, I use it with a timer, but truthfully I have oxygenated water and it has held high do levels overnight than an air-stone can produce. Hope that helps clear the mystery. It's a great product if you're a serious grower. Peace

You got it my friend. From what I understand they are doing some research about installing a digital timer of sorts.

They are a great investment if you're serious about growing top shelf medicine.

Obviously the people that figures they are overkill is absolutely wrong. People should really have experience with the product and know the facts.

Correct me if im wrong, but i had read that adding co2 into the res will destroy/ break down some parts of the nutriens over the time.
Aswell i've heard that airstones arent really efficient and they're working over time less and less well.

What do you guys think would be the best for an recirculation dwc system to ensure enough co2 to the water without this nutrient break down effect?
