that'd make sense... 1/2 of master kush comes from the same area, and the mother had a hint of skunk. I've got a good round of clones now, so I'm gonna' seed her from the 'widow(purple pheno). hopefully I can get the mutations to express in some of the progeny...I'll keep this as a side project, 'cause this could be a 'key' to unlock the genome to even crazier strains in the future !yea, i have the cervantez grow bible, and it sounds to me like an afghanica/ruderalis cross, making for the doublesaw and the webbing. other than that i got nothing W/O a budding plant pic....and its just a speculation bcuz well, no pic
How do you get them to express the differing phenotypes if you're working with clones, though? I thought it required sexual reproduction to see phenotypic expression.that'd make sense... 1/2 of master kush comes from the same area, and the mother had a hint of skunk. naaah..I'd take a cutting if it's a male and keep an eye on it(don't allow pollen sacs 'til you need 'em) I've heard you can put 'em in stasis in the 'fridge.. I like to keep males from really good weed for more crazy hybrids...I'm a mad scientist...as far as tetra goes, I'll try crossing some of her clones, but I do NOT want to lose the original mutations...my guess is that unless(and even if)I cross them to master kush, the mutations might go underground; only to pop up randomly...under stress possibly? How do you get them to express the differing phenotypes if you're working with clones, though? Did you check out the link to the mj botany book I found? Is it one you might be familiar with? How about the other book, for someone who wants more than the basics?
Edit: Oops, ok, I'm reading the last couple of posts. I am curious about this, as I have a single Papaya that I want to keep pure before trying to breed out to anything else. But, if it's male, I'm sort of stuck at that point, aren't I?
