I'm beginning to understand the clone thing. If everyone followed this approach from the start the bugs would have a hard time . Thanks for your help...
Keeping clones clean is definitely a job. You cant be complacent and should take some preventative measures.

If you ever need help shoot me a pm.

Nuggs you're wasting your time. Unless you can physically dunk the whole clone you're going to miss one. If you can't I would break down and clean everything with a water/bleach solution. Last thing you want is to veg these out and deal with them all over again.
That's what I do. Before I plant the rooted clones into party cups, I mix up 5gl of azatrol & dip the entire plant, root cube & all, then plant into new dirt....good luck bro....I warned you keeping clones was a pain in the ass.....o_O

that's ok Man I figured you spaced it out. probably best not to come by now anyway. don't want you taking any bugs home.
Remember I said track them to their source? Otherwise they will keep coming back. Spent too many hours in the last few days looking into all of this- started a thread, goes much farther than just your grow here his grow there.

Don't know if anyone mentioned this or not as I don't have the patience to read the whole thread. Russet Mites live in dried flowers, eating the resin glands. Handling last years infested flowers will introduce them to you current crop if you do not practice good hygiene. The local dispensary has been doing this for a few years and no one really knows about it. Many areas in N California are infested thanks to them.

No disrespect to you Sir,but the russet mites don't live in dried flowers. they die when they get dehydrated from lack of water. the eggs can survive and infest again though if you haven't had a freeze below 34deg. or a hot water bath above 120deg.

I could be wrong if so I'd love to see the evidence in writing to support your findings.

Good point. I've wondered that about the nugs i smoke. Figured their resiliant and had a good chance of living a while.

Gotta do my 2nd heavy (think it was 80ml for 4gl) azamax spray tonight. Followed by 2 more first 2 weeks of flower. Prolly DE all bases as well.
Gonna check out that cinamite, and need to get some avid and spinosad. Stat. Ladybugs feast on mites too?
