BTW: I have the bugs too boys. Damn.

They are in my veg area and only on some plants, but I will
have to assume that they are on everything. I will be re-spraying
my plants in Veg, weekly, for the time being. I will have to bomb
anything that goes into flower too.

More to follow.

JD
I think weekly is too little, more like every other day.

There is an egg cycle to consider. You are right.

I have yet to see an actual bug. but I am sure that I saw eggs.

I will keep an eye on things and will be hitting them again.

Thank you for taking the time.

I use gardensafe organic neem oil in my hand pump sprayer and lightly spray surface of soil every day if possible. Go through about 30 oz of spray (about 1 fl oz of concentrate) daily between 20 plants. I just spray the whole room, all plants and moist spots, all at once so the bugs have to scramble until the neem dries... you could really mess the bugs up by doing 1 whole garden spray and then following up again a couple hours later.

for me it seems I overwater too much and am not clean enough to completely get rid of the gnats... consdiering opening the windows to drop the temps enough and lower humidity to make it tougher for the the little buggers.

That Qrazy Quake looks frosty already. That Psycho Killer could get huge I had a no stretch and a 2x stretch pheno out of the 4 diff pheno i grew so far. That Psycho Killer is going to get huge if it is the stretchy phenotype it appears to be.

I've also got some BB going DOGS, Sour Cherry, Qrazy Quake, Deep Blues x Livers, Sour Kush x Deep Blues, Cheese Surprise. So far just 1 DOG in flower though. Next will probably be Deep Blues Livers and Sour Cherry.

Did you get any of the Deep Blues x Livers strain yet? "The Deep Blue has been developed to F3 with the intention of creating a nice cross with Livers / Blues, which delivers an indica relaxing stone, with shorter flowering times enabling effective SOG growing and quick turnarounds on crops." They were giving them as freebies last time i ordered a few months ago.

Nice posts BG. Thanks for taking the time.

I am growing one of the Livers BXes.

I will have to Sub up to wherever you are growing the Sour Cherry out.
I loved that plant....mine could've be a bit stronger, but I could've improved
it with another run. I will have to pop another of these some time soon.

I need me some sour cherry too. Im tempted to just ask @Dezracer for a cut of the one he has.. LOL Seeds are a lot of time investment. ;-)

If a buddy has a good pheno already, you can prepare a mother right off the back. I would give 2 cuts tho. One to mother and one to throw in. Prolly a sample of flower too. I understand everyone can't do it like that. That's just how I do it. I have only given to one buddy but always well rooted in medium.

Right on...good to have you here Clink.

I had to look your dude up...he was so cool....I did not know that
the perm started off as a way for him to save the $ from haircuts. lol

Took the little Kosher Tangie....it is only monsters until the
5 gallon buckets out of the tent.

The next three in are a Psycho Killer, a Jake's Dream, and then
a Apollo 13 BX.

Yes, I love TGA, but have a small issue right now...three beans
put down resulted in zero sprouts. I may have buried them a tad
deep, as some seemed to pop up later than usual, but we will see.

After a week I got a Deep Psychosis and Nirvana sprout...never
give up hope. :0)

I did not put a plant into the KT's place, as it was next to the Jillybean
and, in that spot, it was fine that it was not a bushy plant.

I intend to give the JB at least eight full weeks. It is an early finisher
and would be delicious right now, but eight will be better.

I took some photos. I will post them shortly.

P.S. Another surprising thing about Bob Ross was that he was a total
shit-kicker most of his life...this was why he chose to be so gentle for
the rest of his life. He was not evil...he was a Sergeant...it was his job
to be that way. :0)

Having held military positions that required him to be, in his own words, "mean" and "tough," "the guy who makes you scrub the latrine, the guy who makes you make your bed, the guy who screams at you for being late to work," Ross decided that if he ever moved on from the military, he would never scream again

That was a confusing post...

I meant 1) I have only strong yielders left in the tent and 2) that
the last three 5 gallon buckets (for now) are as listed.

Next out is Jillybean, probably next Friday at Day #54 and then
Sour Kosher a week later, at its Day #55.

...but I am also considering adding one more week to both.

It is weird, as the Sour Kosher seems to be wrapping up a bit
faster and so it is catching up with the JB which is followed by
a week.

I am dosing the plants in Veg today, for bugs. A variety of materials
will be used. (BT + Spinosad + Neem + Lavender Soap probably)

hear u on the seed sprouting and hope lol
got a g13x 88 hashplant germing, 1 seed left, will be happy with male or female. all other seeds i germed with it cracked except this. i decided to scuff the seed for the first time ever yesterday so hopefully she pops.
outta 12 this will be my second, others never germed or were given away.. makes me wonder if i should of tried scuffing the older ones that never germed.. i think i seen u scuffing beans jd, was it you?

Yeah....wtf....did I "scuff them to death"....lmao...dunno...

I really banged them around in the container more than anything else,
and so I started to just hold the bean to scuff it on the sandpaper.

The stink is starting to grow...this is a problem when things go right...

I am sure that the sour Kosher is going to STINK when I dry the crop.
I vent out though the tent so I do condition the air I am sending out.
...but a really strong crop can poke it's head up...on the right day, with
little wind, etc.

Ah well, we will see.

I broke a couple of them up and am fairly sure that it
was a too-high moisture level....this has affected a few
seeds for me. I love using the peat pucks though, as
I can sit them on the wicking-mat maintained seed tray
and just up-pot them to beer cups when roots poke out
of the expanded pucks.

I found one that popped and I am giving it a chance in
a beercup of moist pro-mix. I am hoping that the good
fungi can protect the weak baby from damping off. Small
chance. So it is confirmed: one Chernyobl and one Qrazy
Train lost. One Qleaner with a small chance.

On the upside, several of the new sprouts are coming along.
I up-potted from beer-cup to 6" pot both a new Dog and my
second Golden Crack. A couple of Nirvana breeds popped
(strong beans smokAl0t!) including one of the Biker hybrids
and a Black Domina X Sleeskunk. The next Deep Psychosis
also popped up.

I will go back to using the paper towel and then going right to beer cups.

Take care,

JD
