These are *exactly* what I use. The pH meter specifically is very resilient. I've dropped it 15' from my balcony onto concrete, and it still works. It stays calibrated to within 0.1 pH over three months.
The PPM meter in that kit I calibrate as well, using a known PPM substance on a higher range, and pure glacier water that is pretty much in my back yard for zeroing.
OP, as far as lighting, I veg in 24 hours, and have for a long time. Also, on my first grow, I had Miracle Gro soil (as it's what I had), but imho, Miracle Gro and organic don't click well for me. MG is owned by Scott's, who is an affiliate of Monsanto, and they (Scotts) are known (and found guilty) of selling poisoned bird seed knowingly. I stay away from everything Monsanto. Although this is a personal choice of ethics for me, the plants will do fine in it.

Update either my leave split or new ones appeared over night!...I have already made some but they kinda pissed me off lol. I went down to the hardware store looking for reflectors the person was like what I can get for you told him hes like you might be in luck brought out 3 that had been bent and was like ifyou want it take them

With that size closet, I would go with a 150 watt MH-HPS for my lighting. Be careful with that tea, it can cause mold very easy. I would get me some kind of organic Fertz Veg, and Bloom. I use Dyna-Gro 7-9-5 for veg, and 3-12-6 for bloom. Works really well. These are under 250 watt MH-HPS, just starting flowering, a little to hot for your space though unless you can find a way to keep it cool in their, than it would be all right. Another good fertz, would be Plant Magic Oldtimers. good luck and happy growing

depends on how big you want your canopy or how long you want to go.i like a short garden so my shit works alil different.4 or 5 nodes is a great place tho,

looks good man, with cfls you want a short bushy plant. and that is what youll end up with, topping and lst is the key to a good cfl grow.

Ok everyone well go some news some good some bad. Bad well had a long day at work traveled 4 hours there and back total plus 8 hours of work also my one vehicles broke down on my lady so that took more time. So that means plants was not check on for a long time and hit a light and this one got a little dehydrated I think the pot was dry on top two knuckles down and put my finger a little in the bottom hole which was dry. Good news! the topping or fimming worked still don't know which to call it ALSO TONS OF GROWTH on the secondary shoots?
