I tried watching a football game this year with some friends from home. That shit is so punishingly boring i really applaud you guys for being able to sit through it. I didnt have any money riding on the game so maybe thats my problem but jesus christ they play the same three commercials after every single play.

Dude falls down....
commercial with a knight watching a baby....
Olde timey football game with a pepsi break...
Shitty sf movie preview with the girl from 70s show...

Rinse....repeat....over.....and over...and over....

Maddening.

Don't quote me on this but I heard Gisele has to be there of Tom can't finish,if you know what I mean.

They are talking about pruning....so those 3 were not pruned as far up as the other 6. To me that is totally unfair. Those 3 plants had more branches...and thus buds. Next time they need to either prune them all...or none. I would bet that if they didn't prune the other 6 in the test that they would have produce just as much.

^^^^Yeah I'm looking at that chart and I'm like "what kinda PetFlora mathematics is that?".

Sooo I just grew a plant that gave me 86 grams of quality. So let me say all 8 plants I grow at one time give me that and I round off to 600 watts and yeah baby I'm breaking that 1 gram a watt barrier. Yeah right , I hate ex-crapulation extrapolation.

Side lighting like that is probably quite wasteful, especially when choosing BML. Better off with a 90° beam angle and shooting it just below the tops at about 45°. Actually you're probably better off getting a Kessil :). Still, I would love to see a GrowMax grow. See if there's anything to their spectral choices.

anyone have suggestions for a 2x2 area with 2 plants? after searching around i think ive settled on the area 51 RW-150.
I think you answered your own question. Not a lot of people will argue with your choice unless you're in Europe where a Hans or PlantPhotonix might be an arguably better choice just for shipping and warranty issues.

Hello, I am currently in the market for LED lights. The goal is to pull high quality and high yield with the lowest watts and lowest heat possible. What light do you use or recommend for vegetative growth? Seedlings and clones? (blue spectrum, stocky plants and shorter inter-node distances and etc). Considering GreenGenes707 Grow journals I am opting for the Apache AT600 for flowering with the hopes of getting some kind of a discount from ApacheTech. However, I am yet to decide on lights for a vegetative room and and separate light for rooting clones. I appreciate all input and advice. Thank you in advance.

Long post you's have here,
I'm looking at a Mars 2
900w for a 4x4 tent,
Main use will be vegging a few moms & clones in solo cups for the outdoor season but Id also like to try a scrog or sog with it
In the off season
I own quite a few HPS & mh ballasts in 400&1000w
And just thought what could it hurt to try Led's

Any opinions are welcomed

In Greengenes' last YT video update, there is a discount code for the AT600. The code is: ATLGR27 and I think it was for a 20% discount. I don't know if it's still valid or how long for.

Hans Mother Panel, A51 W100 come to mind. Advanced makes an interesting Veg panel. My personal favorite for a veg light is the Illumitex F1 based panels that you can get on Amazon right now on the cheap. And DIY is where the lowest watts and lowest heat in grow lights is found, but as long as you have some good circulation going on, (and a good strong place to hang it from), an AT600 is a proven winner.

You won't find a lot of love for the MarsII line around here and while not as bad as some other budget based panels from China, the panels that come out of that part of the world aren't a good representation of LED growing. Not very efficient, lots of heat, lots of wasted electricity. These are the basically the types of panels that give LED growing a bad rep. If you just jump in and grab any panel that seems right you may be surprised how dissapointed you are with your finished product. Hang around and take a look about the forum for a while before trying LEDs. And remember, the quality stuff uses less electricity to produce light than the cheap Chinese stuff does so in the long run they pay for themselves and this is in addition to their longevity and the superior quality of product they produce. The budget stuff just isn't worth it when growing MMJ. Hang around and you'll see.

Good Luck Everyone!

Germinated on 12/23 under T8. Under K5 750 since 1/7. After 12/12 is when I find out how good this really is! 430 watt draw! Its meant for a 3.5 x 3.5 not 4x4 like it claims. I do believe its priced right at 1200 compared with its competition. Its a mid range fixture with IR and UV. I am happy so far.Other people must like em too cause there sold out most everywhere. Its perfect for 6 plants in 3-4 gallon containers. Hoping for 500 grams ,but probably closer to 400. I am gonna take 2 honey bananas and the truberry that are in small onesGEDC2342.JPG and flower em on the other side when the new fixture arrives in couple weeks! I am going with the K5 1000 . 650 watt at the wall! That will be the 4 x 4 coverage. The higher end lights are just still to expensive for me!
