Dude you paid too much for that light.
1150.00 for the 750 and 1450.00 for the 1000 that's comin. 8 to 900 g on 1st run . I can live with paying a premium just for that warranty. KIND LED will be around to honor anything that goes wrong! I am just not ready to spend 5 grand for 2 spydr 1000. Now that is spendin to much! I would def rather have 4 these K5 than 2 spydrs

That kind of money should have made the grow lights I did and won't buy any over priced or under price unit ever again. My veg light runs 433 true watts and bloom light runs 378 true watts cost $630 to make for each. The LED's are Cree CXA3590 with Mean Well drivers.

Not everyone wants to build their own LED and it seems like he is happy with his LED.

I have no time to learn that stuff! I am sure I could but the time it would take me ,I would rather have it ready to go out the box. I do agree with you. I believe all LED fixtures are over priced, and that will come down with the new players everday. BML/Illumitex/Heliospectra are the best of the best! Then there are Kind,Blackdog,Cali Lightworks, then the unwarrantied fixtures that are mostly same as KIND,Cali Lightworks but without backing! I would love to have top bin osram diodes and osram drivers, but cant afford to fitout with those fixtures now.

Yeah have you checked out area 51 LED or apachetech? They are well known on these forums for high quality and very good warranty.

Yep those mars hydro lights are junk, they break so quickly and good luck warrantying those, gonna have to send them to china lights off for months and then they send back a broken light.

That's cool but just make sure when you buy a LED the company that makes it releases legitimate information on the LEDs they use , if they don't they are just as junk as a mars hydro.[/QUOTE
Apache tech and area 51 are really overpriced. There mid range players that want high end prices.

Don't think so my first Mars light was purchased Nov 3 2014 and was up running on the 11th and still running. All the parts in your light is made in Asia Why I say that due to the Bridgelux and Cree LED's made in China and the drivers are most likely Mean Well which is made in Taiwan. But it's all American made I hope you hit you mark on the weight you expect. If you don't have grow skill it doesn't matter what light you buy.
