Well with Bodhi gear I've come across lemons, berries, blueberries, mango, and other citrus smelling fruits. Can't say I've had specifically anything orange aromas or flavors.

Bud to leaf ratio is always pretty good. Yields are not terrible but the correlation of getting to know a plant and some vegging, you can certainly pull better yields.

I've never had a bad plant. I've had plants that may not be keepers, but every female I've gotten has been solid.

Satsuma is from an cali-o clone so I assume out of twenty two beans I should find one with that cali-o connection.

If those are a no go on orange I think I'll try GGG followed by all the cheaper 10 packs of regs from High Quality, White label, KC brain, homegrown fantaseed or I'll try two packs Agent orange followed by dutch passions couple orange varieties. But hopefully I will not have to go past Bodhi's.

Better than looking for a bag of dicks, those can be found in the politics section. ;D I liked the agent orange cut I got, it is really good yielder and frosty as fuck. Rub on the stem and smell your fingers it is like you are walking through an orange orchard.

I didn't grow out Agent Orange but someone gave me some to try once and it did not smell like oranges. I don't think it was the best example, but it smelled more like rotten fruit. Smoke was pretty shitty too. Again, don't think it was the best example.

That is why I was looking at Bodhi since he has a good reputation round here.

The tangerine dream from barney's I've tasted and it was great tasting but had a mediocre high, not the worst but not that good either.

Some of the ones mentioned above sound good, like that kosher tangie and agent orange. Just the kosher is feminized and agent orange is from tga and I've read a lot of yah and nay, so conflicted but would probably give them a shot for that Agent orange.

I've also thought about KC brains for a split second and maybe if it was still 2003, but not now. Same thing with dutch passion, if this was ten years ago I would trust DP, but not anymore. Nirvana used to have a california orange but I don't think I'd go with that one either.

Any thoughts on GGG's orange juice? Is it worth the $100+ a pack.

I would like to have a production orange, but really just doing for my own personally taste so a larger yield is not the overall goal. Just quality smoke.
I had a pack of swiss miss from nirvana that a buddy and I did outside 6 years ago and it was pollenated by either itself or some random pollen but one of the few seeds I found in it ended up with a nice orange flavor. Had a small yield with high leaf to bud ratio (like growing a cabbage with small buds orange haired buds inside) and didn't grow fast and had no side growth to clone, but it had taste and potency. I would like to avoid something similar to this in regards to slow growing unclonable.

I'll keep researching and if anyone has some orange/tangie buds out there, don't be shy... show them bad buds off and let us fools know what's good.

My only experience with GGG (grew out Bright Moments) they nailed the Grape Flavor they claimed to have nailed. I'd imagine it's a decent option.

Great thread. Im looking for some good orange flavoured bud too. Ive grown a few rounds of Agent O but it justdoesnt have a big kick. Its well documented the Cali-o doesnt have high thc so its all up to the male to boost.
I didnt like Blood Orange either but think Satsuma is my next Bodhi purchase.
I am considering Tangie, Chimara's CPlus or GGG Orange Juice. Gonna pull the trigger here soon so this thread is really great timing

I suspected that the cali-o was lacking potency. I think that satsuma sounds good or tangie trainwreck by rare dankness, I think.
