An agreement to pay property taxes is only valid if the agreement was mutually entered into, otherwise it is not an agreement and has become an edict. A just agreement requires the consent of all parties ABSENT DURESS.
The standard mode of operation of the nanny state that you love is to issue edicts, consent of the peaceful individual is not needed, because they have and will use guns to ensure their unilateral edicts.

I'm afraid you're caught in the assumption that a coercive entity has any authority to make agreements for peaceful people with or without their consent. Can you show me where I agreed to own a home AND pay an extortion fee?
