I see your problem. It's easy for us to say " do it " but not always possible..totally get that.
Mail order maybe you best bet...or net work some help here. Where are you again.
Don't you have any buddies in the "know".?

I have lots of friends in the know and already pay as close to cost for what they get. Still bm wholesale prices. And They lack the variety and consistency that the few dispensarys I do use have. Hash, ISO,bho, edibles ect are almost non existent. Doing it myself is the best option.

Why are you guys posting in an LP forum if you don't use LPs and you don't like LPs? It's really annoying to constantly hear your unfounded criticisms just because you source from elsewhere.
I get it , you think they're a ripoff and that they're disingenuous in everything they do and in everything they say. Well you have no proof, and dispensaries aren't any cheaper. MPN charges $25 for shipping, that's fucked up and kills any sort of savings unless I order a dufflebag worth, which I will not be doing anytime soon.
Also:
A. Canada has been a ripoff country long before MMJ. Look at our taxes, autos, telcos, groceries, even gas...everything has always been more expensive here, get used to it.
B. I am not going to start growing in my closet, leave me alone.
C. I like Tilray's customer service. They ship fast, are always reachable by phone, and are nice. That's worth an extra $1-2 per gram to me.
D. I am fortunate to not have to be a very heavy user like some of you multiple-times-a-day patients, so an extra dollar here and there really doesn't matter when the quality is good.
E. Tilray will have more variety soon once their own home-grown plants are harvested. It's a new system and they are a trailblazer within it, so cut them (and the other non-irradiating LPs) some slack, and BLAME HARPER.

This isn't an L.P forum. It's for CANADIAN PATIENTS. not people who just want to become "legal" and are happy buying trim for astronomical prices. I have some banana and orange peels at home. lots of flavor left in them. I'll sell em to you for $6 a gram

I get bud and pay shipping for the same $$ as your shake that has free shipping. How is that not a better option? Order more then a half oz at a time. You seem to not understand what mmj is and isn't.
A.If you hate canada so much get the fuck out!
B. No problem I won't do that either.
C. Mpn has amazing customer service. Never a problem that hasn't been fixed before a order is shipped, the same day mind you. And the problems were fixed with more expensive meds then I ordered. And they call you and let you pick what you want not some mystery bottle of shwag dust.
D. Must be nice to be able to medicate with medical waste
E. Nope no slack cut for vultures.

Sorry Minnow, I m glad it's working for you. Seriously and don't need to slam you personally in anyway. If you took it personally I apologize.
But first of this isn't an LP forum. It's a med patients forum and many don't feel as happy with the LP system as you do.
Sorry your stuck in it as it really is unfair to you and thousands of others.
Most of us are against the setup....not the Patients who use them.
Does that make a bit more sense now and hopefully you feel less picked on knowing this. We aren't picking on you.
But on this part you need to know. Paying $6 a g for trim is serious OVER pricing of that product and you are being hosed all the way to your pocket book. That part angers us in the know...okay

Tilray is an American company, based purely on profit. To sell a byproduct of the harvest (shake) and call it milled is misleading and a travesty. Too charge more than BM prices for shake is inexcusable. Hopefully people are smart enough to know the difference between a good LP, and big business, cooperate America, looking to get rich off unsuspecting, naive Canadian patients. Education is key.

Ok that's fair enough , and I appreciate the apology and maturity.
I also think that MMJ should be cheaper. Heck everything should be cheaper, because why not?

Unfortunately this isn't a "closet-operation" anymore, and there are "costs of doing business", including adult-wage workers to be paid, pensions, benefits, overheads, TAXES, shareholders, bank loans, insurance, etc. etc.

The prices that you're seeing under the MMPR are essentially the costs of legitimization and standardization via corporatization. Hopefully more corporations will enter the space, competition will heat up, variety will increase, and prices will consequently come down. This is something that I think we can agree on. Until then, Tilray is all there is for those of us not willing to commit a crime by buying off the street, and those of us not able to order large quantities to benefit from volume savings.

Also just as an afterthought, dispensaries aren't exactly charitable organizations (to the best of my knowledge)... and they are funded by profit-hungry shareholders just like everyone else. To venerate one while vilifying the other is quite ridiculous.
