Of course, they're the ones who accuse you of being an 'angry atheist' while throwing the threat of eternal fiery torment in your face.
It's not my threat, friend, anymore than I am threatened by someone quoting Darwin. See the parallel there?

You can dish but you can't take?
That's rediculous. I've pretty much said - as politely as I can - what my pov is, and my opinion of yours, and those I've conversed with.

He enjoys picking apart other peoples opinions (complete with his favorite rolling-on-the-ground emoticon), but will not take a firm stance on anything so as to avoid any ridicule coming back his way.
LOL....no, wait...LOL ! Vato, if you didn't use ridicule, you'd have posted about 70% less. Look back at the past 4-5 pages - you think I missed it?? Do you have any doubt what my stance is? Check out our pages of e-mails, you know, where we discussed my Christianity, and your non-belief.

So are you playing dumb for the sake of grandstanding? Why....yes you are !

Apparently us heathens are screwed.

He got it straight from the source.
Unfortunately, that is true. Any more questions about where I stand?

That is one of his "moves" so to speak. It does annoy me, because it's simply a distraction from the issue at hand.
If there's anything at all that you think I haven't been clear about regarding where I stand regarding atheists and atheism, feel free to let me know. I'll be keeping a look-out.

I don't know what 'threat' you're referring to from Darwin (threat to your feeble fairytale, perhaps?) but at least he was a real person while there's absolutely no proof of your god. No parallel that I see.

You didn't get it - ok. In other words, the 'threat' you cite of "eternal fiery torment" isn't my threat, or my invention, any more than quoting an evolutionist or scientist amounts to ownage of the thought or the words.

Better?

BTW - 'feeble fairy' is pretty funny, but you got to raise your game to stand out amongst the angry atheists with their memes and such. Your scorn and derision barely registers, amigo.

Nah, you said there's a parallel. Didn't ya? Ok, well lemme get this straight, you're here as a messenger of your god's word with the threat of eternal suffering simply for not believing in him as he provides no evidence? Darwin was a scientist whom had searched for answers to the origin of life as we know it with the evidence that was available to him at the time. Parallel? More like perpendicular.
So you come here and recite the threat of your god over and over without any proof and then when you're challenged on it you just say, "Well it's not my threat". Typical coward apologist. Yes, deny what all the evidence points to. It is what you do best!

Whoa buddy slow down. First off I have ZERO mod powers. Secondly I would never censor what you have to say.

You once again are throwing a bitch fit and accusing me of something I can't even do.

After stow said his side if you noticed I listened to his side and left it alone as he made a solid point.

Please keep my name out if your mouth. I don't need you starting drama about me that's a blatant lie.

It was a mistake and I felt like a fool because of it... I was going to PM you but I feel a more public apology would be appropriate. I dont know how to make it right! Sorry man!!!

Me, a messenger? Why, thanks! Coward apologist? Hardly. I've apologized for nothing as I go one vs six [seven?] angry atheists.

If you're waiting for me to cite 'proof' from a source you don't recognize, look elsewhere. 8-)
But you non-believers :evil:sure do get worked up, doncha? Why do you think that is? ;-)

Hey, man....remember how I criticized evolution by quoting the guy credited with the idea? Why don't you quote me saying any of what you just attributed to me?

Tell you what...we both know you can't, so let's move ahead. Per your example above, I'd say your indignation towards me is misdirected. You might try taking it up with the source:

"But the cowards, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death."

Not my words, amigo - that's Revelation 21:8. A far cry from your misrepresentations.
hahahaha..sorcerers....

The "Lake Of Fire" is Hell. There is a lot of biblical imagery in the lyrics, and the song can be seen about how the Christian church uses the idea of hell to scare people into following their beliefs (Meat Puppets did a version of a song called "Jesus Don't Want Me For A Sunbeam" which is also very sarcastic).

Isn't science wonderful? I find this type of discovery fascinating. I remember :-)t reading about that a while back but that was a good read.

On another note, while I know many of us are atheist or agnostic (a position I find odd, as usually upon further questioning one is either an atheist or deist), we shouldn't be rude in challenging others. I believe we can make our point respectfully while engaging those of faith.

It's weird, religions have always fascinated me, despite the fact I am and have been an atheist since elementary school.
i dissagree..wheres the respect for us? if im forced to live among the crazies,im pointing it out every chance i get..shove that shit down my familys throats in politics and everyday life, making laws based on it with no consideration for non belivers..
liberty university is the ruler of my local govt.students are encoraged to vote republican/christian in the local election(and are reprimanded if found voting otherwise,i shit you not..students are encouraged to barc out other students so the school can kick em out and keep tuition!
so they vote, change the govt, economy for 2 years, but live here 5 months of the year..the 5 months my city is a conservative douche city..
i have no respect for religous fuck sticks.sorry...

Correct-o-mundo. 'Sunbeam' is also covered by Nirvana on the same 'Unplugged' concert.

Happy Thanksgiving day to all the angry atheists who are giving thanks today to........?.........well, who are giving thanks today for......?.........well, who are getting a day off work. ;-)

Can't fault your musical tastes, at least. :eyesmoke: Aerosmith did a fine unplugged, as well, but Alice in Chains was terrific. still is.

The thing that I dont get about evolution, where are the half-evolved races??? Shouldn't there be monkeys with campfires and makeshift houses? Art or music? Maybe, Bigfoot is it right?
