im thinking about getting some sheet wood and making a miniscule grow room for 1 maybe 2 plants. how many lights do i need. what voltage aswell.
for a very small grow room

let us know just how big is this room?,cfl's or mh/hps??.... two plant scog-about 2x2x5 250watt mh/hps vent fans, small carbin filter,some mylar or paint and most of all love..lol...

an hps should do it. 250 watts for 2 plants is fine. watch for the heat issues though.

it should be about 4 feet by maybe 4 feet, im think one light with reflective plastic cover on the inside maybe a little fan. so 250 light?

yeah well you dont need 4 feet but if you only want 2 plants, 250w hps should be fine.

you want 2 plants? go to home depot and get a 250w hps. ask someone there to show you. they have like security lights that come with the ballast. i bought one there (250w hps with the ballast) for 30$. you have to buy an extra cord (12$) to be able to plug it in. get some fans too because hps' gets very hot. you need fresh air circulation, if you cant give that to your plants, than dont waste your time.

so i see on most grow rooms there are vent tubes coming out usualy out of a window tube. do i need to do that or can i just throw a fan in there?

well you cant just throw a plant inside a closed box with a light. the plant needs fresh air, and the temperature needs to be around 75farenheit. if you have heat issues, you need to do the tubing. if you dont have heat issues than you dont need to. go to the growfaq because im not all right.
