The cabinet is resin 6ft tall, 30 wide and 19 deep, not alot of space....i got mine from home depot for 85.00.

However the results are showing to be quite nice. Will be updating the fans shortly for intake and exhaust to aid in cooling the 400w cfl's and 2 75w fl. i used blackout plastic for the entire inside which worked out perfect as there is no light that escapes anywhere. I cut panels and overlapped them inside to achieve this to steer away from having to use weather seal stripping.

not much to look at, but this sits in my kitchen off to the side and looks very unassuming. will be installing filters towards flowering to help with smell. still trying to work out a cheap way to introduce cool into cabinet that is very cost effective.

proper ventilation essentially comes down to good air circulation from the ground up. Allow your plants breathing room and also have an oscillating fan circulating air inside the cabinet. As far as everything else goes... I would have fans pull cool air from an area outside your grow cab/room and have it exhaust somewhere else.

One idea I've had in the past but never used was to take the hot air and odor into a diy carbon scrubber first then into rubber maid tub with ice and water then exhausting the cooled 'hot air' through dryer vent.

The purpose of this is first to lose the odor and second to dissipate the heat signature that would obviously come from HPS. This is assuming a secure grow room first.
