stOw and TY conveniently leave out why ISIS is 'so mad' at their fellow sand dwellers, don't they? LOL
And the fact that they have said on several occasion's they are going to attempt to wage wars on neighboring countrie's....I wonder what the conspiracy theorist's will say now that the US has as much as Saudi in Oil....Surely, it's still not about oil is it?

As you are towing the 'other' company's line. You don't see that? You think you're view is 'outside the box' ???
It certainly isn't a view that gets much air time if you are trying to make it political.

But I'm sure drones, propping up governments and picking factions will keep everyone safe, because this approach has worked so well.

When your holding a hammer, everything begins to look like a nail.

So...your response is....we survived Hitler, we'll survive anything?

Allrighty, then. :)
My response is you can't bomb an ideology out of existence. Haven't we already proven this to be so? The definition of insanity ......
As you are towing the 'other' company's line. You don't see that? You think you're view is 'outside the box' ???
I'm not towing any line. I have come to the realization that there is a reason for their hatred for us. It's not as simple as what you'd like to believe. They don't "hate us for our freedom", or because we worship a different sky fairy than them. Perhaps it has to do with all of the death and destruction we've brought to their shores??

How is that any of our business? If we're the worlds police then we have a lot of work ahead of us. Why arent we bombing the shit out of Africa where attrocities are carried out every hour of every day.

Think about this, the average fighter is between the ages of 16 to 30. What have they seen since they've been alive for such a short time? War, violence, stories from their families of political exclusion, targeted drone strikes.

What opportunities do these men have economically or politically? None

And when you forget history it has a way of repeating itself....They are just trying to buy the first democratic government elected by the people in Iraq in business....I do believe it require's the thing's you have quoted above and some time's you get thing's right and sometime's wrong it is what it is....Most of the information used to make those decision's are beyond us

It's a religious faction which we decided not to include when "rebuilding" Iraq. Besides the group is made up of many former smaller groups for different reasons.
Because they want to kill everybody...They were so extreme al qaeda didn't want anything to do with them

What we really need is some concrete proof from the scientific community that the imaginary man in the sky does not exist. Cut the head right off the snake. Short of that there will always be religious radicals who will kill in the name of the their god. As you rightly pointed out, you can't bomb an ideology out of existance where they believe that their martyrdom leads them to a flock of virgins in the sky.
we do have proof , it's science, geology, evolution, astral physics.. etc.
awww crap, i mean nevermind....mumbling about religious arguments.... pointless

Hence why I posted all the bullshit the United States/Western countries have contributed to the issues in the middle east we currently face.

There are quite a few lessons one may be able to pull out of that link for further inquiry

That is a rather simplistic, reductionist viewpoint. If only there were two colors in this world, black or white....

Or perhaps binary, 0 or 1
So then let's be logical do you want to include that group in running the country? Let's put AN or the KKK or Black panther's in charge in Washington? Sound's like we would get thing's taken care of better then

Not trying to be rude, but I really don't get the point you are attempting to convey.

Yes let's elect ISIS!/s

And the black panthers were not equivalent to the KKK, not by a long shot.

Contributed to newer issue's sure...Like blowing up home's and those kind of issue's there sure I will concede that..... radicalism and a functioning government that hear's the wants and wishes of the many w/o fear of death or persecution? No I would not say the US has contributed to those issues

Wait......ISIS is killing non-Americans in their own turf because WE left them out of the new Iraq gov't?

Really ???

........yada yada yada.

Look, amigo, I think I've made it clear. I don't care WHY they hate us. At this point, it makes no difference.

In case you haven't noticed - they're not seeking peace talks.

Successful democracies are formed from the ground up, not top down.

And I'm sure 13 years of war in Afghanistan and 11 years of war in Iraq have certainly made issues far worse in the middle east.

It does make a difference. You are being emotional and not rational about a very complex region with very real problems, it does matter how the region became the mess it is.
