i looked in cemeteries, a soccer field, a baseball field, lawns, after mornings of frost, the day after a day of heavy rain, hot days, cold days, and still aint found one liberty cap

do they only grow on fields where animals roam?

after i posted that i looked on the side of a bank and found some tiny mushroom buttons what look like mexicanna buttons to me lol, i thought they didn't grow in newfoundland, how many days does it take for mushrooms to fully grow

i'm almost sure its mexicana

On your behalf man I just did a lil research for you and there are more then quite a few deadly look alikes around you for lib's....Subb's are very easy to Identify check out when they are in season for you

P subbs have distinctive rings on top hard to misid as there arent very many look alikes.......They dont bruise....Black print check em out....Plus seasonality for your area ...You may be a lil late to the Lib cap season IDK Never been to Newfoundland
