Must be the last color your vision picks up before heading to its peak wavelength. :shock:

I'm not saying red is the way...

I will eventually unplug them for a run...maybe next run. But I have a good feeling, they being there, are a good thing.

well I can't tell the diff between the reds, but I do like having the deep reds in the mix as long as there is proportional amounts of UVA and blue to match.. btw sorry if I missed it earlier in the thread, but are those warm white or cool white cobs ?

sure wish I had the time and skill to build something like that !

I'm still blown away at 488 grams, (inside a 2x4'!) great job pos. couldn't say it enough.

I was looking into 52 or 78* reflectors, then realized I'd have to get all new holders for my 3070s..... nope, maybe on the next build.

These are 3000k cxa 3070. I didn't really have the skill when I started. Just bought the parts out of disgust of the options available and put myself on the spot to put it together. Ended up becoming a welcome hobby...:p

Thanks scotch. It was 448g or something though. I didn't expect that at all...I didn't think I could get that much out of these strains. Wasn't till I harvested and was hanging the plants that I could feel the weight.

Time for some new flavors. Gsc and blue dream cuts, can't wait to try them out.

Kinda boring now that the maiden voyage is over..lol. just update when there's nice nugs now and then. This light is done son..

Time for a new project...muahahah....:fire:

Girls finishing their stretch. Blue dream has a nice stature, Looks like it could be a good version. Fat flower formations

Not sure what the others are. They have a funky viny growth taking up all my grow space. Gonna have to tame that girl a little.

Reflectors off instead of raising the light this time. Finally a truly enjoyable light to grow with. Time to focus on the positive and chill on the negative

Hell ya POS, now its just time to put flower cycles through the tent and reap the rewards of your handiwork!

Looking good, should be nice to see how the results differ with/out the reflectors and see what you like better.

Blue dream is a awesome plant so far. Strong blueberry smell on a super vigorous plant. This is a special one..

The other one is supposed to ba a Girl Scout. Doesn't really look like any I've seen posted on forums. The flowers are wispy so far but showing some early trich development

Sending a little extra light down with a reflector, spot looked like it could use a little extra light depth. Upping the UVB to 8hrs from 4hr. Think I like a little more than 4hrs

Exhale bag still going..I think. Need a UVB meter...co2 meter...par meter...in a perfect world..

plants look great posi! super frosty for this early in the game!

those exhale bags are just a non fruiting substrain of mushroom
spawn. i believe they are from the agaricus genus. if you like oyster
mushrooms, you can get a couple culture syringes and incubate
your jars in the tent with your plants, same results, but you get an
extremely healthy protein source in addition to fatter nugs.

i'm one of the app administrators on mycotopia (go by kcmoxtractor)
so if you would be interested in learning to grow mushrooms i would
love to help. you would also get the added benefit of home made mushroom
compost, which in my experience was the best form of compost.

worms love mushroom compost! it takes a little longer for some
types of mushroom compost to become vermicompost than others-

dung loving mushrooms like psilocybe cubensis and agaricus genus
turn to vermicompost really quickly, sawdust (for oyster and shiitake)
takes a little longer, and mulch (also for oyster and shiitake) takes
the longest. each of them have different properties when added to
a medium, but that is to be expected.

dung loving mushroom compost is like adding a perfectly composted
horse or cow manure (depending on which you use). dung loving
mushrooms also love coir, my typical dung lover substrates were 50/50
horse manure/coir. sawdust is similar but seems to hold more moisture
than manure and release it more slowly. myco-composted mulch holds
the most moisture and releases it the slowest because of the ratio of
volume to surface area of the pieces.
