Any Canadian Growers?

Hey, awesome thread.
I live in ON north of 42Degrees.
I did my fist outdoor grow. Plants straight into the ground on May 28th.
Natural soil, very black and rich soil, no watering ever, its an hour away in the bush in a nice little clearing on the edge of a forest field. south facing lots of light and wind protected.
I planted a Green Crack (HSO), an LA Widow (KERA), and a Sugar Black Rose (Delicious i think). They went into the ground at about a foot tall from seed. Didnt even water them when i transplanted to the ground. No fertilizer till a few days ago.
All 3 are extremely healthy, no dead or yellowing leaves, no bugs or pests, no mold (yet). The green crack is 12 or 13 feet tall!! Topped once. The LA Widow is 9 feet tall and 8 feet wide, topped 2 times before going outside. its so big you can go hide standing up in the bush. Super healthy with nice purple nugs.
The SBR is 8 feet tall, 7 feet wide. No yellow leaves or deficiencies. Nice frosty dense nugs already.
We have had 2 frost/near frost nights so far and another tonite and tomorrow. The plants look like they need 3-4 weeks to fully finish off. Im hoping for the best and hoping snow holds off.
Assuming a 9 foot tall plants finished off decently, what kind of yield would it bring????
Give us some pics!

Dinafems Deep Cheese reeked so bad, worse than the sour secret (sour d X LA Con) and skywalker kush grown at same time.uick decent yield.
Awsome FEM seed is U-Pink Kush from Dr. Underground. Bubblegummer from Female is the bomb. Super Lemon Haze is ridiculously potent and HUGE yields in 9 weeks.
Agreed stinky as fuck, Dinafem is the shit, I'll always order there's from now on. Yeah the Super Lemon Haze (Greenhouseseeds) has a huge yield eh.

No kidding. I hate this god damn shitty weather. I can remember 3 years ago and being in shorts on October 18 for my birthday.
Yeah, remember swimming up at Wassaga a few years ago thanksgiving weekend, shitty, short summer :( I brought the outdoor girls into the garage at home, will be finishing them in there, safer and no frost worries.

Sure is a spiritual experience growing outdoors though but a crap shoot as to whether or not you'll get anything. This summer is causing us all to have a late harvest.

Yeah and now the daylight hours are going to fall below 12 and the existing marijuana buds will start to ripen, instead of growing bigger.

oh gawd, don't say that. My buds aren't even as big as a quarter.
I know same here! I don`t think it`ll happen instantly but after a couple weeks of 11 hours of light she`s going to ripen up in a haste, wether we like it or not.

I know this year is definitely the worse I have ever seen. 2012 was wet some what like this but the sun was strong when it was out in the fall. This year it's like once mid to late August rolled around, everything went to shit and the buds just didn't grow, unreal if you ask me.

Mentioned I was going to rig up an indoor setup to finish my outdoor girls. Here they are, nice and comfy in the garage, running a 315w/CMH LEC Sun System, bought a second CMH rig which will go into the flower room for the winter :) It's covering about 2/3 of the canopy and an LED over the smallest plant at the far left. This is a first for me, finishing outdoor plants indoor, should be interesting to see how they handle the transition and lighting change.

NS hobby grower here... Had the biggest scare last night temps went down below 0 ...I went out this morning and my "gertie" wasnt feeling all that well..couldnt believe it the whole top looked like snow....I was ready to just throw in the towel. Everything in veggie garden burned up ..dead.We have goats and chickens ...so I put a bunch of thier fresh bedding all around the base of plant at night remove it in the morning...so far so good. she seems to be doing ok... I am in same bout as a few others as well...its hidden in the back yard and neighbors be wondering y only one plant is covered...have to go cover everything tonight..just to make it less obvious.
I wish I could get her in the house...but she was planted in a milk crate..and of course the roots found thier way outta the bag inside..so not chancing ripping her up....What a shitty summer.. I hope everyone gets at least something for all thier hard work ...good luk ... this was gertie and her sister last night... 20140911_194055.jpg

It would be tough using geo pots in the desert. I give you that. It would be an awesome experience to live out in the bush and tend to your plants. WHat a summer that would be. Are you talking down in yakima where there's some desert? It's really tough to find strains that will finish on time outdoors for BC. You plant June 1 and you got til end of sept and maybe if you are super lucky with the weather, you have some time in oct but that's a serious hit and miss. Gotta find strains that will work in that short window. Anesthesia, grizzly, texada timewarp, those for sure work outdoors here in BC.

hmmm...I'm usually in the ground by 3rd week of April...weather lasts until late Oct early Nov...south Okanagan area....;)

Growing Pk Kush as I was told it is and skunk in BC. Last week it rained and I saw a tiny bit of bud rot. Got rid of it. I am so waiting for the girls to be done. I know my skunk has a ways to go. I usually set up my gazebo but not sure if I want to do that this year. I have moved 2 to a different part of the yard to get more sun.
76 PK Kush 1
79 PK Kush 2
83 Pk Kush 3
84 Skunk
These were taken a few days ago. Two have yellowing leaves and the tri's are pretty milky. Buds not as large as they could be.
Wondering how much longer I should be waiting. I think plant one might be another week cause the leaves are not turning anything.
I am getting worried as they are starting to smell a ton.

I think number 2 is going to come down tomorrow even though the buds aren't really that big. What do you all think?
Maybe number 3 as well.
I just fed the skunk.

Mojo, you're one lucky man up there! We have different micro climates throughout BC. I don't think you'd get away with planting in April down here but maybe more experienced growers would say different?

I drove through highway 3 into Van this summer, was that ever bloody hot! But we'll have to see how we do with the colder nights as they come. If I can go into Oct with mine, we'll just have to see but I am super nervous being an inexperienced grower. I don't want it all to be for nothing. How can I say that, what an education. That's another way to look at it. experience. How else can you get it?

Thanks for showing those pics of your purple kush IHave6cats.
