Any Canadian Growers?

Make hash brother. Let em go as long as you can then make some beautiful BHO or ISO.
Yeah, good idea, finish them as much as you can and process them if the buds aren't big enough. I brought mine into the garage cause I had the option and the lights to do it, had considered doing it anyway to avoid being ripped. I wouldn't bring them into my indoor grow room though, could end up a mess, not worth it. Would have preferred to finish them outdoor but something's amiss this year, mine weren't getting much light where I had them either, can't remember the last time we had a season like this in Ontario, where's that global warming now!! lol

I had ak48 outside and I think they need six more weeks. I don't think I'm going to get it this year. My plan is to make butter as well it's better than nothing I guess. I had them growing the first of June. Ak48 is suppose to finish fast but doesn't look like it this year. Going down to 4 degrees this week :( I'm going to let them go until the 3rd frost. Let's pray for a warm fall.

I hope their right as well. Everything seems to be a bit behind this year, if we don't get a dry, warm fall I don't think mine will finish. I was about 2 weeks later getting them out this season, didn't expect that to be the difference between my plants finishing or not.

The little deck plant in the pic below if about 2 weeks further along than anything out in the fields. The handsome fella on the table doing what he can to keep an eye on things.
I like that little guy!!! My plant looks very light in colour. I need some dry weather. I fed her last night but it was raining like a Biotch again.

Hunting season started, I can't blame you for the worries about rippers. I hear stories almost every year about hunters finding "outdoor grow ops". Yeah the weather's the shits this year, I think your right about not finishing in time. Shit even if they do finish by say mid October (weather permitting), with the amount of sun Ontario's been getting lately, the buds are going to be golf ball size at best.

I love all these dog pics! And OGE that is an incredible story about how you saved your dog with ganja butter. We just lost our little cocker spaniel due to a surgical staple moving in her abd and pircing an organ. Very sad. Couldn't get her to a vets after hours so we had to wait for the first ferry and by then it was to late. When we took her from Vet A to the vet trauma centre in Vancouver she died in my arms and I bawled for a good 3 days. If you can grow weed with your dog outdoors you have some magical times in my opinion.

I'm still taking notes on strains you guys have had success with outdoors in BC. Any other suggestions for next summer?

didn't read the whole thread....but in the South OK trainwreck will finish...also tryin' a strain called dig-weed...dig seems it will finish sooner...next year I hope to grow out some blueberry and northern lights, along with the dig and wrecks...don't think my afganis' will finish, but we'll see with the nice weather here in the desert...as for those geo pots...too much work for me...they dry out fast here in the desert...maybe inground...but that defeats the purpose of smart pots...just my musings

It would be tough using geo pots in the desert. I give you that. It would be an awesome experience to live out in the bush and tend to your plants. WHat a summer that would be. Are you talking down in yakima where there's some desert? It's really tough to find strains that will finish on time outdoors for BC. You plant June 1 and you got til end of sept and maybe if you are super lucky with the weather, you have some time in oct but that's a serious hit and miss. Gotta find strains that will work in that short window. Anesthesia, grizzly, texada timewarp, those for sure work outdoors here in BC.

Hey, awesome thread.
I live in ON north of 42Degrees.
I did my fist outdoor grow. Plants straight into the ground on May 28th.
Natural soil, very black and rich soil, no watering ever, its an hour away in the bush in a nice little clearing on the edge of a forest field. south facing lots of light and wind protected.
I planted a Green Crack (HSO), an LA Widow (KERA), and a Sugar Black Rose (Delicious i think). They went into the ground at about a foot tall from seed. Didnt even water them when i transplanted to the ground. No fertilizer till a few days ago.
All 3 are extremely healthy, no dead or yellowing leaves, no bugs or pests, no mold (yet). The green crack is 12 or 13 feet tall!! Topped once. The LA Widow is 9 feet tall and 8 feet wide, topped 2 times before going outside. its so big you can go hide standing up in the bush. Super healthy with nice purple nugs.
The SBR is 8 feet tall, 7 feet wide. No yellow leaves or deficiencies. Nice frosty dense nugs already.
We have had 2 frost/near frost nights so far and another tonite and tomorrow. The plants look like they need 3-4 weeks to fully finish off. Im hoping for the best and hoping snow holds off.
Assuming a 9 foot tall plants finished off decently, what kind of yield would it bring????

a 12 foot plant growing in Canada? That's amazing!!! BcDigger what did you think of the jumbo? Is it any different to the white griz? Would you say it would finish growing outside in BC before the end of September? Is it full of leaves too? Thanks.
i got a 12 footer in northern canada, i was VERY surprised didnt know they got that big here

Cheese Auto XXL from Dinafem seeds, it get's you fucked and yields very big. The only downfall for you I think is the smell, it fucking stinks until it's all dry and I mean stinks. I would have to say the strongest smelling strain I have tried for sure, and I'm counting the Kush too. Cheese Auto XXL is a cross of Master Kush and Skunk with a lil bit of ruderallis in it for the autoflowering, however it doesn't start flowering for about 30 to 35 days and finishes in 80-85 days from seed with well over a QP per plant.
Dinafems Deep Cheese reeked so bad, worse than the sour secret (sour d X LA Con) and skywalker kush grown at same time.uick decent yield.
Awsome FEM seed is U-Pink Kush from Dr. Underground. Bubblegummer from Female is the bomb. Super Lemon Haze is ridiculously potent and HUGE yields in 9 weeks.
