You're good, no different than a cloudy day, as long as they have some light you're fine. Wish this rain would stop! Sprayed my girls for PM on Thursday, damn stuff is all over the place out here, the PM spray is good for about 10 days, maybe one more spray-down before they finish up, 2 if it keeps raining

Me too. I have clipped garden plants to the ground with the shit on it. It stopped here so I have brought her outside. Now if it's raining and your plant has gotten soaked do you still spray for PM. Thanks Codster. I love that image above your name. Not sure what they are called. Avatar comes to mind? That was a very important case you showed us the link to. Over in BC I see we have rainy weather calls again. At least a couple of rains before the end of the month. This is when you wish for a clear plastic canopy over your plants if you're growing outdoors. Will mine make it. I just don't know at this point. It'd be awesome if they did!

They will make it. I don't know how big a grow you have but maybe you can stake a plastic tarp over them. I know my freakishly religious neighbours would thinks wtf is that woman next door tarping only one plant in her yard ???

Can I ask you guys if we're supposed to keep watering the plant all the way to the end of harvest outdoors or if we are supposed to stop a few weeks before? Then the rain comes anyways and waters them...but that's not in my power to stop at this point. I did a fertilizing 4 days ago. Do I have to do anymore before the end of the summer arrives? Thanks for your insight and recommendations.

I try and wait for when they're dry and there's at least 24 hrs with no rain forecast. It seems to last longer when they have a chance to dry off well/stick. I think I did them Thursday morning so they were good, you can see a sheen on them, the oil seems to put a slight layer on them and noticed the water/rain beads on them, whereas if you do it and it rains right away it seems to wash it off somewhat and doesn't last as long. I was using vegetable oil in the mix, when I switched to olive oil about mid-summer, it seems to work better/longer, not sure if that's the case but it seems like it. Hate that shit, I've noticed some bushes like lilacs and anything in that family are magnets for PM... Won't be having to bring in outside air this winter so I should be good, took me about 2 months to recover/cull/clean this spring when I brought it in through the air intake. If you know it's in your area and need to bring air in from outside, I'd recommend putting a good filter like a carbon filter on an inline fan, maybe even DIY an additional furnace filter or the like. It spreads so fast when you get it indoor and came right through a DIY furnace filter I had fitted on the intake fan.

I water to the last few days, but as you said, you can't control mother nature. I've had to chop when they were really wet with frost forecast a couple of times. Just need to blow more air on them initially to dry them off and avoid any mould issues. If/when possible I try to wait 3-4 days of dry weather and no watering, but not always possible w/outdoor. In that case you just have to adjust your drying techniques to account for it.

Thanks, they're in good shape for this time of year, no fading at all yet. They're photo's Platinum Bubba Kush (PM magnet!) and Jack The Ripper (pretty well immune to PM). They're short/wide on purpose, lots of colas/bud sites though. I needed to keep them down low for stealth, nosey neighbours and they'd stick out like a sore thumb if they were 4/5ft tall. FIM'd, LST'd and super-cropped them to keep them low/wide. Decided I'm going to take them back home with me, too quiet at the cottage now and when there's no traffic is when the ripper's come out. I've got too much time invested in them to get them ripped now. I'll be setting them up in the garage at home to finish them, safer and I'll maguiver something to manage the smell, neither one of these strains is really bad for smell until about the last 2 weeks. Should have brought a bucket of Ona Gel with me for the ride

Anesthesia outside in BC near the 49th. Good vigor. Great structure. Good yield. Great potency. Interesting flavor - not my favorite but I don't care as the smoke is great.
It's not a TRUE F1, but it's quite close. Excellent uniformity on plants. This is what a great strain is supposed to look like.
Here's a closeup taken today of one outside. The weather has been pretty glorious and I hope it continues. It did well in the rain last year though.
