Any Canadian Growers?

Yes I am just trying to get a feel for growing from seed by NOT spending too much until I see how I do. I did also just ordered a feminized Deep Purple and a Romulan fem seed. Plus some autos for $15 for 10. Figured what the hell cannot go wrong. I read and read about strains that produce good yields etc. any suggestions on something I should try.
One good strong (20%+) sativa-dom and producer I just finished, it's drying, is PPP or Pure power Plant. I'm looking at 3.5 oz from a 24" plant. Running 3 larger 30" plants now and expect about 4-4.5 oz from each. It'll run about 9-10 weeks though. There are so many strains out there, never enough time :( I have a couple waiting to get time/room that are supposed to be good producers and quality smoke, LSD and Shackzilla. I'm about 5 weeks from harvesting a cross between a PPP and Blueberry, and a PPP and Ace of Spades, both should be tasty and good producers, can't wait to run them. The search is half the fun ;)

Someone came into your back yard and stole one of your plants? Holy crap. I have security cameras all over my house so I don't think anyone would have the balls to try. Plus it is hard to get into my back yard. I am in BC as well and I have 4 plants. One small one no idea why it didn't grow much. I also have 2 other PK Kush's and one Worrier skunk. The little girl is in a 15 gallon pot and the other three are in 21" pots which I would say might be 40 gallon? Not to sure. I have used 20-20-20 at first and then once they started to flower I use only organic ferts. I am new to all this lingo so excuse me if I don't know much. I grow mine sideways cause of my neighbors. Next year I think I will grow them in a circle. My first grow 5 years ago was PK kush and I was new and seeded them so I kept the seeds and use them. I would love to try something new. i grew Northern lights last year and they grew to be 7' tall but tiny buds. I never knew about lolly popping and topping so that is what I did this year and they are looking good. I think one should be ready by next week. Weird how two of the same seeds have produced two plats that are different greens.
Yup I have two dogs and have been very comfortable in my environment. Too comfy. Yard is fenced and I was leaving my door open. Someone came through the gate and snatched the plant right off my deck. Screen was open at the time. I was in bed. I am female live alone etc. so I have put locks on the gates. Motion sensing light up and lock the plant I have left in the shed at night.
I will did a lot of LST and super cropping with that plant so it was pretty wide and bushy. Is that the same as growing sideways. The last plant is over 5'.

That's what I am looking for. Smaller plant larger yield. But aren't we all??

I broke down last night and drug the girls into the garage, I'll be doing the same for the next 3 nights, hitting zeros for a few.

Btw what does this look like? I'm thinking early potassium deficiency.

Is it on all the leaf tips or just some of the fan leaves? They will start to drop some in flower. I had a white Domina show the same on some tips so I fed it water and Epsom salts but it turned out to be the plant starting to shut down the fans as she progressed deeper into flower. Have a close look at the whole plant, she will tell you the answer.

Yeah, that PPP is impressive that way, have another week or so before I can sample it, looks like fire though. I like to keep a mix of something that's good/productive, and some tasty snacks, currently that's Jack The Ripper but have a bunch of seeds, like 7 strains coming up to sample :)
Here's that PPP a few days ago when I chopped it, it's only 24" but lots of colas and heavy, falling over heavy when I took the trellises off :)

That looks very nice. Where'd you get this PPP seed. I will also tag Jack the Ripper as well. I have been running one of my strains for a year or more now. Still my favourite and will keep it in the line up. Had a mishap the other night. Came home and the lights had slipped and were sitting on my clones and seedlings. Piss me off!!! One in particular I was babying as I got it from a friend and he's got the same plant full flower. It's a heavy yielding plant. It's toast. And now god damn spider mites.

Ouch, that's definitely a few mishaps, good luck getting those mites under control :(
That PPP came from canadianseedbank.ca, Jack The Ripper is TGA, available in most seed banks, got mine at the Ontario Seed Bank on the Lakeshore in Etobicoke. Go zap those spider mites!

image.jpg image.jpg Sunshine Coast BC here. Second personal grow, this year it's purple kush bag seed. Started 5 seeds and ended up with 3 females .
Thankful for the awesome weather this year as I live in the rainforest.

Speaking of 12 foot plants, my first grow was in a greenhouse in a 4x10 raised bed. She got so large, I had to lassoo her and tie the rope around the center beam of the greenhouse just to bend her over so she wouldn't burst through the roof!

Wow they have a huge selection of autos
Yeah, pretty good selection, I call/email before I go down or order though, they don't always have everything listed in stock, but they'll bring in pretty well anything you want. Wish they had a buy-online option (hate trusting cash to Canada Post), they're like 1 1/2 hrs from me but I usually combine the trip when I'm going down to TO for something else so not a biggie.

Wow. I am so sorry. All that hard work. My growing mine sideways is just cause my neighbor turned out to be a crazy person and he is trying to do anything to get me in trouble with anyone. He is trying to turn the other neighbors against us and has called the city for stupid things and the cops. Someone shit in his yard and he thinks it was me. Ya ok like I am that gross. Anyways I hope you feel safer. I think it must be someone you know who knew you had them or a neighbor. Mine are in 21" pots so no way anyone could walk off with one. Plus my yard is all fenced off and gated with a mastercraft lock. lol

I'm still dragging in and out nightly. We hit -1c lastnight
Damn, don't like the sound of those temps, you Calgary? Poor bastards have been dealing with snow out there already. I need another 3-4 weeks for my girls, may end up finishing them in the garage if they're not ready when the frosts hit...
