I'm a lover not a fighter...no good...

I didn't think MMJ was covered by ANY insurance companies? Am I wrong?
The CCIC and most notably Bedrocan are pushing for insurance coverage. There is coverage in Holland where Bedrocan is from. I believe PPS is also pushing this effort. Coverage without a DIN is a challenge.

In your case you are not getting your other meds covered, so you're not "poor" enough for govt assistance even if there was some coverage program. It's hard to envision the Govt ever offering coverage for mmj, just imagine how many would "sign up". Very expensive proposal.

Private insurance is a different story. When the cost of paying for mmj is substantially lower than other pain meds, and there is a clear savings for said company I think you will see coverage happening more than it is now.

Yes there is some coverage from insurance companies now. You won't read about it, but it is happening to a limited degree. Auto insurance claims seem to be somewhat leaders here. I'm guessing 2-3 years and it will be common place.

Oh - I have always been "poor" enough.

Alas, with my mental health problems, picking up the phone and talking to ANYONE during my worst times - was actually not a possibility.

And now - YAY - I am finally on my boyfriend's benefits - for the first time since I have been in school. I do not know if they cover MMJ (probably not) but it never hurts to ask!

I did also start to read what is now Party Policy in the Liberal Party for their Legalization of Marijuana plan.

There's a lot of good ideas in there....
https://bc.liberal.ca/files/2013/01/DRAFT-Marijuana-Policy-Paper-Jan-13.pdf

They voted on this in March, 2014 - and this is their stance on Marijuana, and what they propose to do.

I asked!

I'm on it - done and done!

It actually has surprisingly good ideas, in my opinion. It's like they TALKED to a real life patient or ANYONE before writing it.

Unlike the MMPR - whoever wrote that must have just picked ideas out of thin air...

Not that JT doesn't care about being elected. But at least he's fucking smart about it - and they wrote a plan that actually sounds doable. AND like it could help people!

the only reason an LP would be in on this, is if..... they wanted all their customers to complete their full script not just what they can afford...... it's a selfish reason and has nothing to do with them trying to be helpful!!!

How many patients even on this forum can afford their full script every month? not many ..... so if this is the norm because price per gram is too high ..... why not try and push for insurance to pick up the tab and have LP's make more money.
While it's great that insurance might pay one day but LP's shouldn't be involved as it's conflicting interest because it's only for them not the patients.

I was just too pissed off to buy another pack....so went with a healthier choice as I'm too weak to go cold turkey.
True it's not regulated, but it is HUGE business, so the people in it are doing it right.
3-4 ingredients...food grade; vg vegetable glycerin, pg propylene glycol....50/50 or 70/30 mix, flavour extract, and nicotine if you want it.
It's not dodgey really, it's political like everything else. Tons of $ up for grabs 80billion worldwide

You can buy shitty disposable e-cigs here now at the gas stations and stuff so regulations are coming. Government just has to figure out how to get their greedy paws in the game.

Not being a smartass but you missed two ingredients...color and cancer causing sucralose (sweetener). Then as jackle remarked, "...what's 'really' in that juice"

On the ECF forums ppl are complaining about pimples on there skin, sores in the mouth, dry skin and a host of other shit. Ya, I've been using them since 2006. I made 7 years worth of 'clean' juice back in 2007 when the gov't didn't even know what an e-cig was.

Alright, back to bitching!

Thanks for the info...I haven't seen too many "bad reviews", but I guess it's like most things eh; there's good ones and not so good ones.
Even the bad ones have to be better than smoking I'd think.
