how can I do this? Thank you for taking the time to respond
like i said the advanced nutrients PH perfect lineup already has a buffer in it. if you dont want to buy fertilizers you need to research what to use as i dont know. i am just going on a chem 101 class i took a while back about water properties, we dived into PH a bit and from my understanding you can change the PH of water with a acid or alkaline as much as you want but if there is a buffer in the water it will always return to the original PH.

My ppm is 750 to 850 .wonder what is actually in my water 800 ppm is high .
ppm is a funny thing because it measures all disolved salt, which is a measurment of all negative? ion charges. Nitrogen is what is most comon for burning your plants, so you can have a ppm of 5000 and only 200 ppm of that is nitrogen, thus you have alot of minerals and other things in your water registering as negative ions..

im not saying you shouldnt consider your PPM and take it seriously but chances are if your tap water is 600 ppm most of the charges being read are disolved minerals like iron, calcium and other mineral deposits commonly found in well water.

just buy a gallon of distilled water and add that, it will decrease your PPM because your adding H2O with nothing in it.

Ohhh this gave me a pretty good chuckle. Ppm means parts per million so you could not add something to take particles of stuff out of water, but you can filter! So you can filter your water down to a lower ppm but you can not add a product to reduce the ppm

yes you can, you can add distilled water. if you have a gal of water with a ppm of 800 and you dump another galon of ditilied water in it then the PH will change to 400. works the same if you dump out 1/2 the water and add 1/2 a gal.

I normally put my water in bucket with air stone nutes and peroxide let set over night and the ppm comes down a tap .always got to ad a lot more ph down the next day then it slowley levels out over the next few days
